Would Not RecommendThis is the same tape as the magnetic version, they just don’t include the magnet. The issue I have is that the manufacturer extends the hook rivets to attach the magnet. In this version without the magnet the rivets still protrude. As I’ve done all my life, I slow the tape with my thumb to keep it from slamming home during retraction. The sharp, extended rivet took a dish of skin from my thumb. Of all my tools I never thought my tape would be the one to inflict harm. I emailed craftsman and did...
Craftsman warranty?????
Would Not RecommendThe tape is good but try to get it warrantied. When I bought it the store manager said if it breaks bring it back for a replacement . Try to bring it back the manager said we don't warranty tape measures .

Would Not RecommendAfter about 2 months of use the measure was used in a rainstorm and will no longer retract. Seems to me a "pro" measure would stand up to a bit of rain. I'm very dissapointed and will seek another brand.
