Maybe good for a weekend warrior
Would Not RecommendI'm in construction, and have always bought the Stanley fat max. Then Lowes stopped carrying them,so I figured I'd try the craftsman out. Of the two i bought, the blades don't hold up to every day use, and the increments are starting to wear off on the edges on one of them. These tape measures are used for building cabinets, and trim work, so they are not exposed to the elements. I will not buy another, and tell everyone I know how shoddy they are

Would RecommendIt's a good quality tape measure. I picked it because it was on sale and appeared to be good quality. I've used it a couple times now and it works well. I've extended it out about 8 feet and it stayed rigid. Also, the markings are clear and easy to read.
