Loving the Auto Lock Feature

I love the nice chrome finish and the Auto Lock feature. The numbers are big and easy to read. The price is great as well. I expected nothing less from Craftsman. I recommend this measuring tape.

Get a Stanley

Didn’t last a full day on the job. The lever lock was very annoying. I bought a Stanley to replace it.

Good quality tape , I like the lock and release. Liked this tape better than the more expensive tapes

Safety First

I needed a new 30-ft tape measure and I picked this one because it's a Craftsman. The first time I used it I realized it's the perfect tape measure for me. When you pull out the tape, it locks in place and you have to consciously release it for it to roll back up. Non more sliced fingers!!!!

Buy a better quality one

I bought this tape measure as my other craftsman tools are real performers. I used it today to measure a window and now am stuck with a broken mechanism and 8ft of tape stuck out with no hopes of returning into the tape measure. I would spend your money on a higher quality tape or one with a traditional lock as this one couldn’t hold up to very light use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] is a tradesman I really like this tape I've dropped several other tapes that weren't Craftsmen and they seem to break immediately I've dropped this one twice and it's been very good still fine I would suggest this to my friends I like the way it locks on to stuff it doesn't slip I like the bottom button is really nice thank you very much.

Love the autolock feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very easy to use tape measure. It automatically locks in place instead of retracting like most tape measures. That prevents you from losing your measure or hurting yourself when it retracts too quickly. The material could be more durable. Although it is chrome in color, it's made of plastic. I imagine it will break if I drop it too often, which sometimes happens on a job site. It is very convenient for use around the home.

Fantastic features

I love doing a lot of DIY projects around the house and this is perfect when I don't have an extra hand. The tape slides out super easy and locks into place. Then it's easy to one hand push slightly down on the tape box and it goes right back in. One of the best features is the easy to use auto lock feature. The auto lock is easy to engage and disengage one handed, a plus when measuring and cutting. Also the numbers on it are big enough to read easily. Great made in the USA. Tape measure highly recommend it.

Great tape measurer

It’s sturdy, clips on well to my pocket and locks into place quickly. It measures short and long and the numbers are easy to see. I carry it in my truck so it’s always on hand in case I need it when I’m not home. Double thumbs up! Highly recommended.

The big numbers make it a breeze to read and measure accurately. The best feature is how easy it is to retract the tape measure with the button on the underside. I highly recommend this tape measure for anyone who is ready to step up from the cheaper tape measures out there. You won't be sorry!

Works well

It tends to get in the way during certain crafts and projects depending on the materials being used. It isnt great for measuring small spaces but it would work well for bigger outdoor projects.

Great quality tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very durable and good quality tape measure with an autolocking blade. I work at construction sites and this 30 feet long tape measure comes very handy. It can easily be operated single handedly. I recommend it.
