Would Not RecommendThe blade clamp design is clearly defective - the blade can fly out at any moment. Not only does it render the tool unusable, but there's no telling where the blade will end up.

Saw works good. But does have issue holding onto new Milwaukee blades. Once the blades are worn in a little bit then it holds onto them correctly. Could be an issue with the Milwaukee blades specifically too much paint in the pinhole to hold the blade. No other brand of blades to test with right now.

Don't waste your money
Would Not RecommendWe purchased this saw for a small project in our bathroom. Cutting 1/4" plywood and the blade will not stay locked in. Thinking maybe the blade that came with it was a cheap blade or defect switched to a new blade but the same thing happened. Once the blade is locked into place simply pushing against the tip of the blade with just your hand the blade lock disengages and allows the blade to fall out.

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Purchased this about a month ago and it has been a lifesaver. Moving out to the country we have a lot of projects to do. This reciprocating saw has made it so much easier. It’s small enough to use on a little projects, but tough enough to use on the big projects. A handy side to have around.
