What Customers Are Saying

The product received mixed reviews, with some customers finding the extractors effective for simple removal tasks, while the majority reported issues with poor quality and performance. The main problems highlighted were that the extractors were made of weak metal that easily broke or stripped when used on tightly seized or stubborn fasteners. Many reviewers experienced the extractors snapping or shearing off inside the bolt or screw, causing further damage. While the range of sizes was appreciated by some, the overall consensus is that the product is not reliable or durable enough for most real-world applications.

Does Not Work!

Would Not Recommend

It did less than nothing to my stripped screws. It may have even worsened the situation by making them even harder to remove.

Broke off... now what?!?

Tip broke off. Now I have to figure out how to get a plugged hole screw out. Thanks for the added headache. Thought craftsman was quality!

VERY UPSET

Purchased this to remove a simple exhaust manifold bolt from my project car. Got the bolt loose started to extract the bolt and with no more than 5flb of pressure and it broke off in the bolt. Now I will have to remove my head and take it to a machine shop. Craftsman tools have changed

Didn’t work

Would Not Recommend

Didn’t work at all, and I only needed to remove one screw. Spend the money for the Irwin one.

This product did’t work for me. It did grab the stuck screw but could not extract. The tip broke off when I applied more pressure.

Screw Extractor set

Would Not Recommend

Only used once and was dissapointed, was a simple shower faucet screw that had been stripped out and the extractors failed to remove the screw, will try again but not expecting good results from the products design, seems difficult for the extractors to cut into the screw and catch enough tension in order to remove the screw

Worked like a charm!

Would Recommend

I own a $200 Irwin extractor set, and couldn't get them to grab on a stripped Allen head bolt. I also didn't have room to hammer them in like I normally do. I bought these thinking the would thread better and grab without hammering in. I was correct. These grabbed perfectly. I used a crescent to get it tight then I used a tap socket to really torque it. I cannot believe it didn't break!!!! Out came the bolt and the rest is history! Buy these before you need them!
