A little hard to start at times and noise level hi

Does it’s job but that’s it.

First pull the handle came apart. Choke has no labels so it’s a guessing game when starting it cold. Sounds like a soup can with rocks while running. Leaked fuel the entire time it ran and didn’t know until after when there was a huge dead spot of grass underneath it. Plug covers are super cheesy and may as well not even be on it. # Power When Needed #

My meter pole was old , older than i thought , termites had eatened it's core away and one morning i found the pole on the ground ; power company came and cut the power to the pole leaving my home without power ; it would take a week before a new pole could be dropped in ; with limited funds , i choose this craftsman - a brand i trust - with it i had enough power to run a 5000 btu window a/c , an old 2012 refrigerator and lights ; the only time the generator grunted is when the refrigerator comp...

Wont power my refrigerator

Breaker keeps popping cant run my refrigerator. Wasted 600 for nothing this is my last craftsman purchase ever.

It powered our house when we had electrical problems for 5 days. We had no problem at all.

Oily mess when unpacked.

For some reason the oil container packed with the generator spilled all over the generator and inside the plastic bag. Total bottom of generator covered in oil. I have no idea if it works correctly because I've had to wipe it down over and over as the oil drips off. Can't get the wheels on because the holes don't line up. So frustrated because I don't want to ship it back but don't want the mess it's making in my garage. So it may or may not work, but shipping was a disaster.

Craftsman generator.

Came through when needed after storm knocked out power for a few days. Ran my kitchen and living room off it. Yes I lifted circuits at pnl and tied in to not back feed to service. It’s very efficient with gasoline use also. Ran 10-12 hrs and used 2.5 gallons of fuel.

Does the intended job

Bought during a major power outage. Started on third pull. Probably would have on second but I had choke in wrong position. Connected two 7 cubic foot freezers and a refrigerator and they cooled back down to what they needed to be.

No power when running

Runs great but have to manually idle it up before it will power up even a light. Any idea what the problem is?

Texas work horse

Purchased this generator without researching. Looked for a low cost option to get out of a bind. Started first pull each time and ran for 9, 8 hour shifts without an issue. Powered heaters, lights, charger and saw. Basically saved the project.

No tires

My generator did not have tires in box. Have been trying to get a hold of Craftsman but no one will help. I would like to at least know what size the tires are since I probably have to buy them since no one will help.

Vibrates apart.

The recoil and engine cover has rattled apart no matter what I have done to fix it. Good luck finding the parts. Impossible. Then, just to submit this review, they force you to shut you ad blocker off, opening up your security because that have a crappy product. Definitely not the the craftsman I remember over the last 40 years.
