My summer house in Maine was out of power for several days in sub-freezing weather. I used this generator to run tro propane furnaces for two days, plus several lights, and a TV. It ran for 7 hours at a filling, very quiet, started easily. I'm quite satisfied

Fuel Tank Internal Rust

I have had mine for about 10 months. It quit running. I found out that the gas tank had rusted really really bad on the inside. Enough to where it had actually filed the fuel line with rust, shutting it down. Do not buy this generator!

Don't buy power equipment from Lowes

I bought a portable generator from Lowes and when I got home, I took it out of the box, added oil and gasoline but it wouldn't start. After quite a while I managed to get it started but it would only stay running with the choke on and when I added any load it would stall. When I tried to exchange it I was told that since I took it out of the box, I could not return it and would need to go through craftsman and get it fixed with the manufactures warrantee. Do not purchase

hard to start every time. Dies all the time. sometimes it won't start and you have to wait 5 minutes to try again. won't run more than a 800 watt heater so don't believe that it'll actually run 2200 watts. Craftsman warranty is also almost impossible to go through. Do not buy!

Great little generator

Love the 25A RV connector. Good fuel economy. Quiet at low output. Starts on the first or second pull. Let it warm up before hitting it with a heavy load. I use this for extended dry camping in my RV which has an 8KW gen. This little guy tops off my house batts and portable electronics using a fraction of the fuel. Waited for a Lowes credit sale…opened a new account and saved $150 on the purchase price.

I'm glad I bought the extended insurance package for this generator. Ran great for about 40 hrs then quit on me. Tried every trick in the book to restart. Took it to a mechanic and was told the coil was ruined.Thats an easy fix!! Problem is no one can locate a coill for this generator. Took it to a second mechanic,same diagnosis.Was told these generators are considered throw away. They are the cheapest. At least Lowes gave me my money back. Good luck to you.

Compared to the price of a Honda you cant beat it

Very good quality for the price . Maybe a little louder than a Honda , but not much ! After I put the oil and gas in it , it started right up and ran smoothly. I’m happy with it .
