Surprised how well it works

Started on first pull and has ever since. Well balanced and easy to maneuver. Cuts nicely.

I bought this specifically to cut tall grass around drainage ditches and wet difficult to reach areas on my 5 acre property. I used it non stop for about 5 hours and it worked great. There are more expensive ones that may be better built, but for the price this one does the job. Started on first pull right out of the box. The quality seems good and time will tell. I tend to keep my equipment for years. At 67 years I needed something light weight and easy to use. I’m very pleased.

Love my string mower

It was easy to assemble, easy to use! Easy to start and push, takes care of the tall grass, keep it cleaned out when through and it lives a long life!

This is good for taking down tall grass

This is good for knocking down tall grass, but the string is very fragile. All tales of it taking down brush are BS, as 3/8 diameter saplings break the string. You will quickly learn to easily replace the string.

I love it because at age 72, I can use it. Start easy. Very gutsy.

Handles it All

This trimmer is great. Compared to lugging a heavy weed trimmer around, this makes trimming easy. It loads new line easier than any similar product I've ever seen. It handles tall brush as well.

Not perfect but does a good job

Works well once you learn about its quirks. Will stall if you raise the front part of the machine very far and sometimes you just don't want to cut the grass super short. If it stalls after running more than 10 minutes you'll have to let it cool down before it will restart. It cuts great and is not too heavy a machine, so I kept it in spite of the quirks.

It's Worth It!

Makes trimming so much easier especially with a bad back. Easy to load "string" and can trim a larger area quicker. No more sore arms, shoulders, or back swinging a trimmer.

Beast of a machine

This is a beast of a machine. I love the ability to adjust the height of the cutting. Most (if not all) other machines like this do not have this option.

Craftsman walk behind trimmer - thumbs up!

Easy setup. Motor oil was included. Started on the first pull. Works great.

Belt for cutting head came off within first 15 min

Brand new machine. Used it less than 15 minutes and the belt to run the cutting head came off. Put belt back on and tried again. Same thing happened in less than 4 minutes. Very disappointed.
