Great 20v Battery Router

Dust collector attachment is faulty.

Love the router, but the dust collector stinks. It would work well if that little attachment actually fit. But it just doesn’t there’s a little lip in there that’s supposed to slip right in and it doesn’t, so there’s a big gap between the desk collector and the router so it’s pretty ineffective.

Made a great gift for our grown son!

Our son had requested this tool as a birthday suggestion. He just had his birthday and we heard he was SO happy to have this handy tool! He said many times he thought having it would have made his projects easier. He seems very pleased with it! We thought the price was good and Lowes was very prompt at shipping it out .Thanks!

Bought this tool to use with circle cutting jig and avoid the hassle of dealing with a cord. I didn't want to spend 2-3 hundred dollars on some of the other brands and I've had good luck with Craftsman cordless tools. This one did not disappoint. I just got mine yesterday and started to use it today It has great power and cuts really nice but it gets extremely hot to hold even with my gloves on I'm not sure if it's defective or what but I'm going to return it and get another one to see

Fit well in my hand and tool changes were not difficult.

First router seems to have the power for the jobs I did. Used a flush trim bit to cut through some 1x3. Wish it had more of a safety mechanism other than an on/off position. But maybe comparable brands are the same way, I’ve not done more research on the matter.

First time router user

While using a router for the first time, I realized you need patience to get a clean cut throughout the wood. With patience it worked out perfectly. It was user-friendly. After finishing a project making a straight cut, I have no dislikes about this router because I am a first time user. I would recommend this craftsman router.

Plenty of power without a cord.

This is a very nice battery powered router. Has a very nice feel and handles great when in use. It also has plenty of power for the job. With no cord to trip over it is the best experience ever.

Tiny, yet powerful.

The variable speed allows you to slice through whichever wood you choose with ease. It’s light, even with the 8amh battery. Adjustibilty is nice & straightforward. Nice entry to mid level router for the price.

The router is easy to operate and hold on to. It has good speed rpms. Depth adjustment is easy to use. The price is better than other brands that are 20 volt.
