Buy extra…They’re going to split when nailed
This has been a very frustrating project. About 40% of the boards split when you nail them, especially at the top. The top row of nails had to be at least an inch and a half from the edge to keep them from splitting… This means the nails are only about 2 1/2 inches apart… I’m concerned about warping.
