Great project!

This kit is a great parent-child project that is not only fun but a complete learning experience that you can do as a family.

Horrible product.

The nails are really bad designed and easy to be broken. I really dont recommend it.

My son is 7 and he had no problem putting this together by himself. He has assembled other toys from Lowes as well. They are a great project for our son.

Fun boat build with kids

Easy build to do with the kids. Simple cuts and easy to put together. Definitely recommend for 4-10 year olds.

Cute little boat

Our kid is only three but he helped with the clear gloss application and hammering. We did some wood burning, a couple coats of stain and a generous clear gloss coat so it can survive bath time. This is one of the best impulse buys we’ve gotten at Lowe’s, but its Lowe’s so there’s not really such a thing as a bad impulse buy.

great father daughter activity

this was a great find at Lowe's. I got it to try with my daughter and she absolutely loved it. after the assembly, we went right into painting it which was messy but also fun. highly recommend this to anyone who wants to give a kid a fun project to do either together or alone.

Fun Kit for Kids

My son enjoyed this project, although he finished it all too quickly. Only one small consideration: Some of the nails can be difficult to hammer in with small hands holding a kid’s size hammer. Make sure that hammering is done on a solid surface, not a carpet.
