Would RecommendOur 7 year old twin grandsons loved making the boats. Only requires a hammer and paint (optional). They built them on their own. Directions are OK, if you are accustomed to creating Lego objects. Kits are well made and came with extra screws. They actually float well, we tied long fishing line on boys' wrists and attached the line to bottom of mast, to sail them in the Cove on a breezy day.

Product great - Service TERRIBLE!
Would Not RecommendThe boat kit is great. Lowes online service is NOT. I ordered two boats and only received one. I have been trying to get my money back for the one I did not receive and find it impossible to get any service, human or not. Have tried the Chat - no success- tried an associate -told the store would have to contact me online associate could not issue a refund. The store has never contacted me. Will never order a product from Lowes again! Buyer beware!
