Would RecommendEasy to build took about ten minutes and grandson took an interest in finding old coins to put into it. Grandson helped build it. Takes pennies dimes nickels and quarters. Good way to get a youngster to start thinking about saving or collecting coins while teaching him hammering and wood construction skills at same time.

Would RecommendThis is a great little project to do with kids. We bought these first instead of the other projects available because we told our kids they could use the money they saved to buy other projects if they wanted to. Plus this helps them learn some money sense either way. These are were easy to put together both both our 8 and 6 year old. One improvement to this would be if the compartments depth was specific to the size of the coin it holds. We keep running into problems with the coins falling down ...
