Is not all hardwood. The middle layer is some kind of fiber/masonite stuff - definitely not wood.

Very soft product. Stay away.

When I was selecting flooring this product caught my attention for the look, price and 15 years residential warranty. Easy to install, average amount of waste, looks very sharp but soon I was shocked how this floor easily scratches, gouges and dings. Very, Very soft top layer. How they could warranty this product for 15 years. I will be lucky to get 2-3 years out this flooring. Stay away.

Not real engineered flooring

The flooring is easy to work with and looks great but the purpose of buying engineered flooring is to get away from the mdf-fiber core of the flooring. I bought the same flooring about 10 years ago and it had a plywood core. I assumed that the flooring would be constructed with the same manufacturing principles as the previous boxes I bought. If I wanted a flooring with a pressed type of core, I would have bought a pergo type flooring!

Engineered wood and click lock vinyl flooring

Looks just like the box. Fairly easy to install but take time to get the lines straight. Use an underlay on the wood or it will make noise. If you make a mistake such as bad joint, don't be afraid to take up 8 or 10 rows to make it look good.

Easiest installation of all the floors I've done. The pieces clicked into place with little effort. The random lengths help a lot to make a very nice appearance. I knocked off one star because construction the store samples was cross layers real wood plywood but my order arrived with a fiber board base. LOVE THIS FLOORING!!!

I was hesitant to purchase this based not he reviews but I decide to take the risk anyways. We removed the carpet and had the flooring professionally installed. It could not have turned out better! We had vertically zero waste and it looks real. The variation in the wood is nice and the color ended up being a light honey color.

Horrible Product

I acquired a sample and ordered based on it. The sample had an inner layer of wood fiber (basically glued sawdust) which was fine. What I got was an inner layer of MDF/HDF. And this does not pass Eco Gold Star emissions. Since installers were putting down the floor, I did not discover this until 70% of the floor was done. And they had already thrown away the boxes. Think twice

Gave two stars as my husband said it snapped together nice otherwise it would have been one star. The wood is very soft and any pressure leaves marks. God forbid you drop something on this. While the very top layer is real wood the composite layers are like cardboard. We previously bought a different brand of engineered hard wood that was actual layers of wood.
