Would Not RecommendI’m a GC and was contacted by an elderly woman who had purchased this flooring and installed by Lowes in Los Cruces NM. The flooring is not properly installed. Some pieces were cut so short that there are gaps along the edges of the wall/trim. There are also places that bulge where installation was to tight. She reports that she has been trying to get Lowes to fix it for nearly 10 months and everyone she has talked to at this store has told her that they will pass it on. They also refused to le...
The engineered hardwood
Would Not RecommendThe product was laid over a concrete base. Somehow moisture leaked through the concrete and caused mold and rotting. I would recommend installing the solid hardwood rather than the engineered as it can be repaired easier. I had to tear out the flooring in my office and replace it. Thankfully Lowes and Bruce still had the same material after 8-10 years.

Buyer Beware!
Would Not RecommendOverall, the product looks nice, and is easy to install. However, the Lowes product description is wrong! This is not a plywood core engineered hardwood as stated in the description. It is MDF core! Had I known that ahead of time, I would have reconsidered the purchase. Good reminder to order a sample, no matter what the description says. Shame on Lowes for not updating the description.

The first few boards were a little tricky because I hadn't gotten the hang of how to tighten them, but by the third row, I was golden.
