Very fast, easy to set up and use and even release a paper jam!

Very Pleased

I am very happy with this printer. Very fast. I love the way it does duplexing from both the automatic document feeder and multi-purpose tray. No more flipping and feeding the page(s) manually. Reasonable size considering the capabilities. Software is better and more flexible than I was expecting. Feels solidly built.

Meets expectations. Easy to use.

Setting the printer up was straight forward and it has been working flawlessly for the past few weeks. I just love having color laser printed pages.

Would have given it 5 stars, but......

I have had this for 2 years. Did have to have it replaced under warranty because of a roller issue. Overall, print quality is excellent. Would give 5 stars, but, the major draw back is that you can not continue to print after the printer thinks a cartridge is empty. It works on a chip , and it can not be reset. Having used other brother in the past, there is almost always considerable toner left in the cartridge after the printer thinks it is empty. This is a waste of toner, materials, and...

The best MFC for an acupuncture office!

The MFC-L3780CDWDigital Color All-in-One Printer has been impressive to use! It is easy to scan and the print quality is excellent. If you work in a busy acupuncture office like Maine Zen Den Acupuncture & Wellness, then I recommend purchasing a MFC that is able to keep up with your acupuncture practice, like the MFC-L3780CDWDigital Color All-in-One Printer!

WiFi is Terrible

The print output is clear and the printing fast. However, because the wi-fi setup is so terrible, be prepared to buy and use a cable. I've set up the wifi several times, only for it to fail again and again (I have other peripherals that use bluetooth or wifi just fine, like the keyboard that I'm typing on right now). For an office-based printer that touts robust wifi printing capabilities, this is a bit of a letdown.

Great printer, scanning software not so great.

Love the printer and copier features, but I can’t scan using my computer. So frustrating. I use an app on my phone, send the scan to my email on my computer. I’ve never had this problem before with any printers.

Not bad, but still needs work.

A very good printer - way better than my old HP laser printer - but a problem: the printer is shared with three computers and two iPhones. The printer simply doesn't like the desk top computer for whatever reason. More often than not, when I try to print something from the desk top computer, I either get a message that the printer is off-line or that there was an error in printing. If I want to get something printed via this route, I need to unplug the printer and reboot it. If that doesn't work...

Must have all Colors to print black and white

If any of the color toner run out the printer doesn't allow you to print in black and white. Even changing your printer preferences to mono only works for a few pages and then it won't let you print. I have given brother 2 chances now with printers and have been disappointed both times.

It prints

Shouldn't have to unsubscribe from emails more than five times, but here we are. It's a fine business machine made by a business far more interested in selling subscriptions than printers. I expect unsubscribe to do just that and having a link to review do nothing is even a bigger waste of time.

Toner issue

Have had this for 18 months. Print quality is excellent. However, had to have the machine replaced once under warranty because of roller problems. That went well. Main gripe I have is that you cannot print when the chip says that the toner cartridge is empty. There is no way to reset the toner counter, and you can’t bypass the message. That is a real waste of toner, as we know it is not totally empty and probably has many hundred pages left. Forces you to buy another expensive tone cartridge ...

Excellent printer

Very reliable printer that can print color photos on laser printer paper on both sides. I use it as an air printer from my iphone and for my desktop computer. Very fast.

Mostly ok

It goes to sleep and falls off the network. I had to use usb to make sure my computer could print from it. It does work wirelessly from my phone, though.

Wireless problems with this model

Brother has yet to issue a software update so that it can print wirelessly from my PC. Brother says that the problem is a Microsoft update, but regardless, they sell a wireless printer that can only partially function.

Super ease of use

The model we bought was to replace a competitor’s printer. The brother was more expensive than the competitor but the ease of use is so much better that the peace of mind and my wife’s happiness meter makes it worth the difference and then some.
