Good features but difficult to set up

Love the double page scanning feature, and it is quick. However, I have had a lot of trouble with the scan settings. Cannot easily scan from the printer. It keeps dropping off the network, i.e., when I restart the PC. Not sure if this is because this printer replaced the L3750 and it is having trouble getting rid of those settings, or because I also have a DCP 2550 scanner/printer on the same network. I have a new computer that is running Windows 11.

Good Work Horse

The printer is a quality work horse. I often have to reprint Instrctor and Instrctor Trainer manuals for teaching. Page count for each book, is double side 580-998. The book had approximately 10-15% full color pages.

so far, I’ve noticed that it does exactly what I want. When I want to speed of. It is pretty fast for what I needed to do and I highly recommend it if you’re an author. Or business that requires a lot of heavy printing.

Great device, ok app, bad ink subscription

Bought another Brother because my old one finally wouldn't talk to windows 11 machines and wanted color as an option. That in addition to the fact that I wanted the other capabilities that his machine provided. I could not get MFC-L3780CDWDigital to work

I was extremely disappointed in the printer. It repeatedly failed to connect to my wifi and would occasionally work, but mostly not work. I updated all the software and followed all the help but nothing fixed it. Finally sent it back for a refund. Got an Epson that works very well. Most disappointing was that i have a laser black and white Brother printer that works perfectly. Always connected always prints perfectly. GREAT PRINTER/SCANNER

LOVE this duplex printer / scanner, it scans both sides so fast! I digitize all my invoices, etc., and this machine makes that effortless compared to the old (non-Brother) device I used to have. It's nice that they know when I need ink, but in all honesty I don't care for all the marketing and email notices - even when opting out. So far the all-in-one is great. The only problem is that the password on the back of the printer is incorrect. I keep putting in the password to update the software and I get an error message. Not sure what to do.

I’ve had nothing but problems with this from the connectivity to the ink cartridges to the paper coming out being curled plus the online help isn’t very helpful

Get a Brother laser printer for reliability

After years of fighting with various Epson and HP ink jet printers, we finally took a deep breath and spent the money for a laser printer from Brother. Gone are all the hassles! Each time I hit the "Print" command, my documents simply print! I hadn't realized how tense this had made me for over 20 years until I experienced the relief of a reliable printer! I HIGHLY recommend the switch.

Works better than our other printers in the office
