Nice quality printer! I was worried that at its cheaper price point than other 11x17 printers that the quality wouldn't be great but it actually printed a photo better than my other printer that I use for smaller prints. And the ink isn't too hard to get either!

Annoying auto functions
Not a bad printer, however our old printer could be connected via LAN and wifi at the same time. This one is limited to one or the other. Big downside for us. We had to get USB wifi adapters for the computers that were previously connected to it via LAN. Also, it's extremely annoying that it tries to auto detect what you put in there and changes the paper size on it's own. I have it clearly set for Letter and portrait but if I put something in it doesn't like then it changes it on it's own to e...

you screwed it up
This printer, which removed the capability of automatically printing both sides of card stock, has ruined my ability to easily use the printer. I hate it and will be looking for another brand of printer in the future. There was an occasional paper jam, but it was worth it to automatically print both sides. Did I tell you I hate it?

The best home printer I have ever owned
This is the best home printer I have ever owned. It is on the expensive side but it is a good investment. The networking setup is easy and reliable. Printing is smooth and carefree; moreover, it doesn't clog like Epson Ecotank. The ink cartridges last many prints. Printing speed is comparable to a professional office printer, way faster than Epson Ecotank. I have owned a Canon printer and an Epson Ecotank. Brother MFC-J6555DW is clearly the best in its class.

A Beautiful & Sturdy Workhorse
I have had many Brother printers but this one is truly stellar. It is quiet, fast and well designed. I love the touch panel screen and well designed UI. I was already sold, now I am a true fan of Brother.

I love the printer but hate that no US measurements are listed. Like 8.5 x 11. Only A2 and stuff like that.

I have a lot of problems with paper jams. It is hassle to have to get access to the back of the machine in order to pull paper out when it gets stuck.

Solid Priner
This is a good printer. I do not like the auto shutoff feature. It is similar to and relatively equivalent to the older predecessors in the same line from brother we have used in the office for over ten years. The older ones were a bit more user friendly and did not shutoff and have to be turned back on.
