awesome upgrade from my first fax machine

I have really liked this fax machine compared to my first fax machine I have used for 40 yrs.

Looks good

I don`t know how to fax more than one sheet at a time.

Much, much better than my old Panasonic machine.

I am not yet fully proficient in using your Laser Fax, because I have not had it long enough. I use it all the time as a landline telephone. I use it often as a copier and occasionally to send a fax, rarely to receive a fax.

Easy to install, works well

We purchased this fax machine in late January 2019 when our original fax machine needed to be replaced. It was easy to install, and has worked well for us. We rely primarily on email, but some documentation has to be sent and received via fax. Two caveats: 1) It's noisy when it dials out (the screechy modem connection sound I hadn't heard in years) and that's annoying to some people who have nearby offices. 2) The location and angle of the screen is a bit awkward - you can't glance at it and see...

So far is has worked like it is intended to no problems of any kind. Nice clean copies and faxes...

STAY AWAY!

We have this machine for one month and its already broken. Keeps flashes and beeping for a new toner but we've tried 2 new toners. Poor quality and difficult to reach customer service.

Great feature; easy to use!

Recently our Brother Intellifax 2800 that we purchased in 2003 finally died. In view of the fact it had lasted such a long time, we wanted to stick with another Brother product. The Intellifax 2840 we got has all the features we need and we really appreciate the capacity of the paper drawer! I highly recommend Brother products!

Good, but......

I like that this can also function as a printer. I don't like that the auto feed is only 20 pages. Even at that, if I try to fax more than about 10 pages, it sucks in multiple pages and I have to start over. I am replacing this with Brother Compact Monochrome Laser All-in-One Multifunction Printer, MFCL2710DW, as it has a 50 page auto feed and is cheaper and it is an all in one.

It would be a 5 Star if it had a glass plate scanner. It's getting to be a pain having to remove the staples all the time to make a copy.

Works just fine for us!

We use this in a very small office. We only use it for sending and receiving faxes. We have not, and do not intend to, use it for copying. The set up was very easy - I did it myself without any issues. We are very happy with this fax machine.

NEVER BUY THIS MACHINE!

THIS FAX/COPIER IS REALLY A PIECE OF JUNK! I have only had it two months and it won't copy or receive information from my computer. I tried to obtain information from Brother internet, but nothing works. The printer continually send the message "telephone", instead of printing. IT IS WORTHLESS!

Fax machine

Been needing a fax machine that actually works and accepts large amount of faxes and can deliver too. FINALLY found it~
