great radio

This is a very nice radio. It has eveything you could need in a work radio. The only issue i have found thus far with this radio is the max volume it is capable of. For an item to be called power box and have 4 speakers with a subwoofer it doesnt get extremely loud. Great as a radio; falls short as media device

I bought this radio to use while camping and for use around the house (yard work, in the garage, etc.). It was an easy choice over other brands because I already have Bosch products with 18v batteries. After trying it out, though, I decided to return it. Almost perfect

Features are impressive. The protective `cage` design is great. A CD player would be a big plus but then it could never stand up to the rough treatment a job site radio is subjected to.

Incredible sound

I have looked at radios forever, my wife finally pulled the trigger on the Bosch one. I love it, use it all the time, durable and rugged. Only drawback is no Apple support, and no USB charging unless it's on USB and then it won't operate from iphone... Cigarette lighter port and headphone jack fixes that... This is a must buy.

Sound, sound, sound, all around. Music is the universal language; and this radio makes it all the more special. Small, but heavy; basis for quality of sound. Error

my device does not play the SD Memory Card's songs, I tried to format it in various formats and all that could be done, yet this does not play the songs. ps: The songs are in mp3 format, and some in and out of the other folders

most used tool

i have the last model,,and i use it more than any tool i have. great for weekends a the firepit.. small batteries last 4.5 hrs,,,the 4 amps last 12 hours... very durable ,stands up to rain. helps to use some tie-wire to boost signal,,,but i live in the sticks so most won't have that as a problem

I would just like to say that I think if it had blue tooth capability it would be even nicer than it already is. That is really my only complaint I have. Works great and has really good quality sound and bass.

Great rugged radio.

I bought this radio but have problems listening inside my shop. My shop is All metal and I have to place the the radio outside. Wish it would have a a To hook up an external antenna. If you do install in future models maybe you Could install a kit on the model that I or others have.

Great radio.

I was looking for the best overall work radio. After thorough research, I decided to go with this radio. So far sound quality is great. Its very sturdy and heavier than all other competitors. Volume gets pretty loud i own a dewalt work radio also and the bosch outblasts it. Little expensive but quality costs more. The only reason i gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because the small antenna fades in and out in different areas, but im hoping it is because of where i am currently working at the moment. ...

Bosch construction boom box

I purchased this a month ago, and I am very pleased. Not only does it get good reception, it's very durable and has many other uses, such as phone charger, I can charge my batteries for my tools etc.

Better than expected!

I had intentions of getting the DeWalt radio until a Lowes associate showed me this thing. I was blown away at the clarity first. Then I watched that video of them throwing it from the top of Wrigley stadium then a guy at the bottom waiting to lay into it with a ball bat. I know that guy's wrist were hurting after that! Just purchased this one as a replacement for one that was damaged in an electrical storm. Bought the exact same radio because it was awesome!

Great product but.......

I purchased this product because I have the older model and it's bullet proof so could only assume the newer model would be even more of a radio. Comparing it to my older model it's ok because of the card reader and USB but ... I find the older model is louder. It had a CD player which I use quite often and the main disadvantage of the newer model is that it doesn't come with a remote. Come on Bosch What's with that?? I love the remote feature.
