Great but some design flaws

Bought for use in work shop. bougth mainly to use for radio and with phone. sound is good. design is rugged. like that it seconds as a battery charger. but the side panel is not large enough to fit a phone inside, so have to lay on top where it's not protected also leaves usb aux open to dust.

Great media center, but could be a little better

I bought this media center about 6 months ago and it is amazing. The only thing that I found a little odd was the fact that with all the connectivity, it does not have the ability to have bluetooth connectivity. It seems that would be a natural feature for this product. It would allow you to connect music from your smartphone and still keep your phone in your pocket. Maybe that will come with the next version.

works great in the backyard for bbqs or sunbathing

sounds amazing

used it on a camping trip and was the talk of the trip. Everyone was amazed at the clear sound and the options for music was amazing, was able to play everyone playlists from there own devices.

very disappointed

My wife purchased this radio for me for Christmas 2 years ago and until now has been a great product. However recently the power button has stopped working when I contacted bosch they Informed me that internal parts are not available for purchase. So I asked for tech support and was told that they are a power tool company and do not work on electronics..... I believe this is the last tool I will purchase from bosch for my business unfortunately due to there poor support

wondering about something

I was wondering if it came with a battery pack or do you have to buy that by it self

This is a rugged, versatile, great sounding radio. Reception is good, even in rural areas. Used a stick loaded with music from my computer and that sound was great too.

Really good jobsite and travelling radio/device.

Got it as a replacement of the earlier Model PB10-CD which lasted around 10 yrs.The MP3/Flash Device/Aux options are just as good as having a CD player as the older model had..Rugged and handsome at the same time.For a homeowner /construction person the charging bay that comes with the device is a plus if using other Bosch cordless devices.And my motto"saftey ALWAYS" the GFI plug in capabilitys are a major plus for me.

A lot of money to only last 2 years

Radio only lasted 2 years. lots of interference when other things were plugged in by radio. Sound quality was good when working.

new purchase of the job site radio, first use of the 12volt charger and it has blown fuse. Keeps blowing new fuses also. NO satisfaction from Lowes customer service due to purchase date, also seen other comments on the same issue.

This photo is the deluxe version which I think they must have discontinued because I cant find it anywhere. The model that they are actually selling doesn't have a back lit screen nor does it have the remote control. Other differences were that it had an extra 30 watts of power and breakers on the plugins. I ended up getting the standard box and so far so good.

Better than Water Resistant

I purchased this over a year ago. Unfortunately, I left it behind where we play sand volleyball. We received over 3 inches of rain and it was left outside still plugged in during this time. I was sure that it was ruined. But to my surprise, I couldn't believe that it still worked!

Rugged Performance

Bought this radio because I was tired of buying a new radio every couple of months. So far it has turned out to be very tough. Well worth the money I paid on sale. It could use a couple of tweaks. The USB port is not powered when the unit is turned off. The USB port is recessed so far that it makes it awkward inserting and retrieving a flash drive or cord.The digital media bay is not big enough to hold any device and close the door. This system is exactly what you want and need at job site! It's a great layout with a ton of features, and charging capabilities. I love the railing system which makes it easy to handle, durable, and protected from large objects crashing into it. You have a slot to charge drill batteries, 120v car type charger, several AC outlets, sd card slot, usb jack, 2 aux jacks, and pretty decent sound quality. I bought this radio in hopes that I had finally found a radio that is loud enough to here while working around construction. It's volume beats the others, the toughness is second to none. But!! It ABSOLUTELY SUCKS ON RADIO RECEPTION AND CLARITY. It pulses on radio and will only pick up a few stations if outside with a clear overhead. Gets better if you add a 3' copper pipe onto the antenna. I would not buy another unless the fixed the reception problems. It gets way worse when you plug something...
