Frustrating Performance - Updated

After working with Bosch on my issues, I'm updating my review. My main complaint is still unresolved. The unit will not charge my ipod, my iphone or my wife's droid unless I have the radio in USB mode. But I can't play any of these devices through the USB, so I have to stop playing music to charge my ipod or iphone. 5 speakers, ez read dial, great sound. sub woofer

I bought this radio about a month ago sound is awesome,  wish it had a little more volume, power antenna, and a 75 oms plug in for auxiliary antenna. Otherwise not bad. I really like the speaker set up clear hear all around.

This is a great product at a great price. I do a lot of target shooting, when I can, and this product is perfect to listen to radio or flash drive music, of which I have a lot of. Once again, GREAT PRODUCT! Just wish it had remote control.

Nice radio but not perfect

Frustrating Performance

I've been unable to use the media bay, because I can't get the usb to charge my ipod. Disappointed because I can't get it to charge my iphone either. Also, I can't get the unit to play or recognize music files from the usb port.

Great sound, easy to operate controls.

Great sound with plenty of volume. The antenna could be a little better. Very sturdy and easy to handle.

Solid Unit

I have been using the piece of equipment for the last five weeks on my job site and I could not be happier with it. The sound is awesome, the battery life excellent and the features cannot be beat by any competing product.

Excellent Product

More than loud enough to be heard over most of the other tools! Very robust!! Being used both in the shop at home and on a home build site on weekends. Plenty of inputs/hook-ups for anyone on the site.

It's a great radio with allot of nice features. And works and sounds great. only down side I think is. That you talk about the battery pack and how you can take it anywhere to use it. But you don't supply the battery that goes with it. Now to buy the battery that is for it. Cost more than what I paid for the whole radio. If your going to sell something to say - use anywhere - then at least include the battery that is for it.

Outstanding functionality

I purchased this along with a drill/impact combo. I was doing a lot of work on a room addition. I used this thing daily! Charges my batteries, listened to music from using my phone, power station, and as as seat during lunch. My kids use it outside to listen to music using the battery as a power supply. I can't wait to use it camping. The only thing I found and it's not that big of a deal is that the USB does not charge your iPhone when using the aux mode. You can still charge it but have to use...

Quality, Durability, Versatility

I own a lot of Bosch products and I am glad to now own this well built mp3/radio. It has a lot of useful features. I have had a lot of complements on the mp3/radio. I would recommend this to anybody. I will say again "Quality, Durability, Versatility".

I got this for Christmas and I LOVE IT !!! I would have LOVED it if there would have been a non-slip material at the top to grip the I Pad .

Very nice radio

I switched form an older Dewalt radio to this Bosch recently and I really love the sound. The receptacles, 12v outlet, USB and SD slot are super. I don't need to carry a splitter on the radio cord anymore to use a drill and listen to the radio at the same time. 4 outlets are great. The only drawback is the weight. I guess that the sub-woofer must have a 10 pound magnet. I'm afraid of what will happen when I drop it. Also, I wish the charger supported the little batteries I use in Bosch Multi-too...

Overall great!

It is very durable and has great sound quality that is very clear! I have not had any radio reception issues either. It is heavier than most radio/boomboxes though.

Good purchase

Very flexible, provides a variety of options for use on the job site or at home. I use mine in my garage and really enjoy the option to play music from an sd card and keep mt cell phone charged

bosch forever no more

I love this concept...great sound , sturdy ,lots of features. BUT,.....they should all work to make this a great product. It states it has a 12 volt charger for cell phones. It does have an outlet , but I can't use it to charge my cell phone or my radio is useless ! that sucks ! when I called the "help line" they said I might have the same trouble with other things pluged into that outlet ! Sorry . WTF ! I'm taking it back to the store even if they say not too. can't charge .......can't use.
