EZ Lock Mandrell quick release

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This EZ Lock Mandrell quick release is awesome. It allows me to quickly change out my Dremel assesories. So eady, just pull,twist, and release. Simplifies changing out assesories and speeds up my production. I highly recommend this!

Easy on and off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makes it so much faster and easier to use my Dremel. Not that it’s hard to loosen and tighten a collet and nut, it’s just way faster and you don’t need a tool if it gets over tightened or stuck. I use my Dremel with cut-off wheels more than anything else, and this makes it super easy and quick to swap them out if you start burning one up.

Simple to use and very secure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the ez lock mandrel! It’s such a simple idea but it makes using my Dremel so much better. The mechanism is simple to use and makes a very secure connection to whatever accessory you use. I find myself using the Dremel more often now that I can use discs so easily.

Better than the traditional mandrells!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like it that with this one I can use flush grinding wheels, as well as sanding discs that I can use in the place of an orbital sander. It is very nice to be able to get the Dremel into tight spots and sand them. It is also nice to be able to run larger diameter cutting wheels as well as Max life accessories.

EZ Lock Mandrel is EZ to load and secure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dremel EZ Lock Mandrel is a handy tool to have. It is quick and easy to load mating wheels and attachments. The tools are held securely. The EZ Lock is a great improvement over the original screw-type mandrels used for sandpaper, grinding wheels and cutoff wheels. It is quicker and easier to load and more secure.

Fast and efficient!

If doing a lot of intricate sanding, grinding, or polishing having this attachment makes the work go a lot faster. When one of the attachments wears out and needs to be replaced this make quick work of it and gets you back working in no time!

Very convenient and easy to use.

No more lost dremel tool, no more searching for hours to find the dremel tool or dropped screw. Highly recommended especially for people with bigger hands that make the tiny screw a pain to use.

Good Concept -

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great idea, but took some practice to get used to. I found it slightly cumbersome to pull down the collar while putting on the disk - I broke the first disk because I couldn’t get it in place at the same time I was pulling the collar down. Could be “Fat Finger Syndrome” ! I do like the concept versus using the tiny screw of the older design (but that is what I am used to)

GREAT for disabled and neuropathy sufferers .

Perfect accessory

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Product!!! Make’s changing sanding disc’s and cutting wheels so easy. There is a little bit of play when a cutting disc is installed but it does not effect the performance in any way. I would like to see more items in the future that are able to be used with this mandrel.

Awesome tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] EZ 402 makes it very easy to switch out accessories such as the sanding wheel. The design of head and locking mechanism kept the sanding wheel secure and tight with no possibility of slipping or loosening. Worked great.

Ez change mandrel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved how fast you can change out sanding discs . I use them for small projects on wood carving they have worked great for fast changing of different grit sanding.All so used for cutting discs on metal

Ease Of Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being able to change disks without having to remove the mandrel or removing a small screw makes working on projects so much easier. A must have for those small hard to reach areas and for delicate details. A must have for every shop.

Makes changing easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not much to say about EZ402, except that it makes things easy. Used it on a recent project to cut and clean some metal edges. I was able to quickly change out the disc and swap to the sanding disc to get the job done.

Nice and easy

Recommended for DIY works

Its recommended to use this product as Dremel tool is very handy. Buy this if you like to do most of DIY works.

Nice addition to my toolbox!

EZ402 EZ Lock Mandrel - Wish this came out sooner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wish this came out twenty years ago. When using expendable or replaceable discs (e.g. cut off wheels, sanding discs) this makes replacement so much easier and efficient. The original style of mandrel with the screw at the top was a pain to replace (especially when a cut off wheel broke!). It was a little awkward at first to use, especially with larger fingers, but when you keep the mandrel in your tool it makes it much easier (unplug tool fo...
