I give 3 stars. This is my first dishwasher so I have no comparison. I'm not overly impressed. I can honestly say, I could definitely live without it. Dishes are not always clean. The manual says you don't need to rinse dishes, but you most certainly do.

Not worth it
Would Not RecommendI highly recommend NOT buying this dishwasher. It may have the appearance of a quality dishwasher, but after a year of use, I can say that it is not. 1. traps moisture inside and causes rapid mold growth unless you run it daily and basically keep it empty. I have lost so many dishes to the mold growth. 2. leaves residue on the dishes and leaves them tasting like soap. New Bosch 100 series
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to purchase a new dishwasher because our previous Bosch dishwasher got struck by lightning. It was only 4 years old. The new Bosch 100 series dishwasher seems more cheaply made inside and out. The exterior does not look as nice as our previous one, and it does not have the digital countdown. So far it seems to wash as well, which is the most important thing. Strangely, the white model comes with a black kickplate.

Disappointed
Disappointed with the rack design. The upper rack is very poorly designed to secure glasses. The cutlery bin in the lower rack does not fit flush with the side of the rack and takes up too much space. My previous Bosch had a far superior rack design.
