Laser measuring tape

like how easy it is to use took me a little while to figure out how to use it but after that it's easy have not use all the functions yet but have use some of them and have not used the app which is bluetooth

Accurate and functional

It helped to pick it from the local store, the same day of the order. We needed it for a project and the device has been accurate over its initial use.

Great product

I still own an older model by Bosch. One major difference I noticed was that this laser shows you the distance once turn it on. It doesn’t wait for you to hit the button again like the older one. Also, when you hold the device at different angles, the display rotates with it. Very nice!

Perfect product!

This works perfectly! I'm amazed at the accuracy! I didn't totally trust it at first, I was skeptical, but it turns out it is indeed accurate to 1/16th of an inch!

Great Tool, Holster is Worthless

Just received my GLM 50CX and love it. However the holster is junk. I could barely get it in the holster the first time and it was not even on my belt. As a Project Mgr/Supt it will be in and out of a case many times a day. Hopefully I can find a suitable replacement. Plan for the additional expense and wasted time. Would have given it at least four stars if not for the poor quality holster.

Blaze!!!

I really like this Bosch Blaze 165'. So many functions and bluetooth right to the app on my phone. It is way more tool than I need but then again, better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. Storage is easy as it is small and compact, roughly same size as lesser models and other brands. Sheath can be belt mounted which is nice for retention. I have dropped it twice on a hard surface from 6' or better and it survived both impacts with no visible damage and works fine. ...

Great tool! (5 STARS)

At first I was a little scared to buy this as I am a person who measures to the 1/32". My worries were over in a few minutes of use. Extremely accurate. The CX model comes with a nice case and also targets. Example of one use: I needed to measure an existing recessed ceiling light and install another the same distance from the wall. Holding a tape measure on the ceiling is almost impossible. This did it in a second!

If you need a laser device this is the one for you. It is extremely accurate and fast. Love it!

Happy with my purchase

I am happy with my purchase of the GLM 50CX its easy to use and I am still learning how to use all the features of the MeasureOn app that I think will be a great help with some of the projects that I have in mind.

Where is the app?

Just bought the laser and plan to return. Not sure if it is me but I can't find the measure on app anywhere. Google app store doesn't have it.

Awesome tool!

Great price at $99 on sale. Bosch quality you expect. Bought it to help me at work measuring height of rock in silos for inventory, works great. Used it the other day to figure an angle on a piece of wood I had to match with one that was in place, set it, check angle set your chop saw and your done. Going to use it to figure angle on stair handrail, easier than other angle finders I have. All the functions are very useful, great tool.

When they say it's within a 1/16 of an inch I didn't think that was possible. I made several mesurements from 6' to 20' and compare it against a tape measurement. All were well within a 1/16" Measurements for crown molding is a breeze now.
