What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the sturdy cast aluminum construction, accurate fence, and strong value for DIY workshops. Many highlight smooth performance and professional-grade build quality. However, compatibility remains a significant concern—the table works reliably only with specific Bosch routers, limiting versatility. Several report receiving warped tabletops or misaligned inserts affecting accuracy. Assembly is generally straightforward, though some encountered missing parts. Minor issues include a flimsy switch and inadequate dust collection. Despite these drawbacks, most customers consider it a solid, capable router table for the price.

Missing the leveling screws
I received this as a gift for my birthday and after spending some time and setting it up I realized that the leveling screws and the locking screws are not in the package. This mean that the table is completely useless. Not only that but I cant figure out how to register the product or find parts for it because if you try to register it the RA1181 does not seem to exist.

Ouch!
Would Not RecommendI have used the RA1181 for over a year. The materials are satisfactory. The setup was tedious, but it turned out okay. The table itself is fine-average at best. However, if you intend to go beyond a beginner, this table shows its flaws. The insert, where the router mounts, is not a standard size. So, if you want to add a lift, you almost have to buy the bosh one. This caused me to buy a third router, a Bosch, so that the lift would fit. This lift is dependent on a cheap ring to make it work. The...

Incorrectly-sized miter slot?
Would Not RecommendAdvertised as having a 3/4" (the standard size" miter slot for accessories, such as a miter gauge. The slot is significantly wider, meaning there is an unsafe amount of play, even when used with Bosch's own miter gauge that they sell for use with their table saw. This greatly hampers the use of this table for many cuts and jigs and, honestly, a very strange choice. Not recommended until they figure this out with an updated version of the table.

Great table, complicated setup
Would RecommendBought this table along with the Bosch 1617 Plunge and base router kit. The router and table works fantastic. I tried it out on some old white oak, it did a fantastic job of routing with a roundover bit with minimal chipping. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that it took over 2 hours to set up out of the box. The hardware was all mixed in together which made it difficult to figure out what was what.
frustrating
the router table itself is mostly ok, not great (leveling was a pain) but the really frustrating thing is that the mounting plate that came with the router is *not* the routing plate in the manual the holes are in totally different spots. with a bunch of rotating I could almost make 3 holes match my dewalk 618 fixed base, but not quite, and not being able to get three holes meant that there was a lot of vibration when using the table. the vibration sheared the head off one of the screws and b...

good value, with a few negatives
Would RecommendI’ve used this router+table for about 5 months. For ~$120 at Lowes, this is an excellent value. Positives: - sturdy Aluminum top, stable supports - router lift! - good fence, including adjustable depth on left half of it, serving as a jointer - vacuum port on the fence - two power outlets in the attached power strip. - has a 1/2 inch collett with a 1/4” adapter - router can be used as a handheld also, out of the table, though I toolk out the handles to have more room under the table! Easy remo...

Warped table top
Would Not RecommendI bought the Benchtop Router Table RA1181 a couple of weeks ago. The first router table was warped -- not flat from left side to right side about 1/8 to 1/16 inch off. I returned that router table and replaced it with the same one. And guess what that second table was also warped (not flat) the same as the first one. This is very frustrating. This only produces problems down stream with woodworking.

Not Flat
Would Not RecommendGiven the quality that is generally associated with Bosch, I bought this set up with hope of having a flat table and insert and a reliable fence but I was very wrong. The edges of the table are a 1/16 to an 1/8 lower than the insert and the insert is also not flat with a low spot in the middle. I have a convex table with a concave insert, pretty hard to make precise cuts.

After a year
Would Not RecommendI bought this over a year ago,the more I use it the more disappointed I am. Table top is not level nor perpendicular to the back stop.the slot where you would normally use a miter gauge is sloppy .790 width at the top .750 at the bottom there is a warp right where stock would start engaging the router bit, really useless. I ran into the same problems others have mentioned with the mounting screws and leveling issues I love my Bosch routers 2-1617’s and 1-movs 23. you get what you pay for I sh...
