RA1186 Router Adapter Plate

If you mentioned an optional RA1186 Router Adapter Plate why don’t you make it right to customers and pull some of the blank adapter plates (prior to drilling holes) and make them available to customers? It wouldn’t be that hard to do and it would satisfy a lot of dissatisfied customers.

first router table, love it

wanted to grow my router skills. I've practiced, read a book, and my work is starting to show some solid results. now I have 132 new ideas and projects I can accomplish with this table.

Nicely built

I didn't like the fact that the fence isn't self aligning. I did like that the product is built nice.

Don't waste your money on this product

Received the table as a gift however my Bosch router that was supposed to be with a different adapter plate compatible wasn't, so I purchased a router that per the instructions was compatible and it still will not mount to the adapter plate, carefully noting the instructions I noticed the depicted plate doesn't even match the plate supplied with the table.

Table can only work with a small number of routers and does not have an adapter they talk about in the directions

Nice Addition to My Shop!

I put this together about 2 weeks ago and found it fairly easy to assemble. Parts fit nicely and the instructions were clear. I've used it a couple of times and really like it. I mounted my Bosch 1617EVS router which seems to be a very good pairing. So far, I'm very happy with this Bosch combination and look forward to using it with my projects. Poor manufacturing and used parts the table had a

Bosch quality control has just gone down the dumps. I purchased the router table and router. The router had apparently been used because the bags weren't sealed and they were scuff marks as you can see on the pictures. The router table had a manufacturing flaw. They were cut out for carriage bolts but one of the holes was not properly cut out. Luckily I had a one and a half inch quarter inch bolt that I was able to grind down and put in its place. 0 for 2

Router Table

The Product is great. It would have been nice if the Lowes and the Bosch WEB sites had mentioned the Routers that were compatible with the Table. I was able to use my OLD Black and Decker Router but not my new Bosch PR20EVS Had to locate that information on the internet or in the Owners Manual that came in the box with the Table. Dust Port OLD VERSION ???

Pretty happy with this table - although I got the version with the dust port exhaust pointing up. If you don't believe me, check out the short product video. I think I would prefer it out the back like the manual shows. I assume I have an older model vs the newer improved version ? Could I get a replacement port sent ?

The finished product after assembly is very nice. The bag of hardware is a challege to sort and identify, especially since there is base assembly hardware and various router mounting hardware all lumped into one bag. The instruction manual is not overly helpful in identifying the specific nuts and bolts in the pile. Set your expectation level before you buy.

My son and I both have this table with the matching router/bases for it. I really like the router it is very well made, soft start, variable soeed, works great!/ The table is a hobbiest level table, Not 100% accurate to a thousand of an inch and has some quirks for a REALLY serious woodworker but EVEN if you are a serious wood worker and need a table to work from it is very solid and we have enjoyed ours. paired with the right bosch router abd base its a

i bought one of these for my son last year along with the plunge router and lift base. mounted lift base to table perfectly aligned. the router fence mounted easily and had shims so we could use it as a jointer and that worked perfectly. my son is not an expert but after a year of use the one thing i can say that needs attention are the stand offs used to mount the feather boards. when you take off the feather boards they slip off.... it would be easy to make ones that dont. i have a 3d printe...

A good value suitable for the wood hobbyist.

Assembly was a bit confusing and took longer than expected. The fence does not line up true to the markings on the table. Changing bits is a challenge from the front of the table. Due to limited space in my shop, the table sits against a wall, so it requires moving it out away from the wall to get a wrench in from the back side. Overall, this is a good table and a good value. Not professional quality, but more than adequate for the hobby wood worker.

Not bad could be better

Good fence, wish the miter slot was better my Keegan feather boards won’t stay put thankfully the Bosch comes with two and the Keegan work in the T track on the fence. Good router plate. Wish the power was on the right side and not the front left. Overall pretty happy with the purchase.

Benchtop Router Table RA 1181

It’s OK for beginners but not recommended. For something purposely designed with parts to match the router table is the worst thing to see. I I have used an aftermarket table it would be different. For some reason my MDF fence is off a couple of thousands creating a slide issue. Side pockets that won’t even stay in place. Miter guide track is .050” over creating a major problem. Probably the best router table

This router table has everything most amateur woodworkers would need. Just read about the features online. It is easy to assemble and calibrate so that your cuts can be accurate down to 1/64th of an inch in good wood. The Bosch 1617 router (standard fixed base) is a perfect match up with this router table. Height adjustments from the top of the table is a breeze with this combo of table and tool.
