This bathtub is terrible. Believe me when I say do not buy this. We bought 2 within a week. The first one chipped after the first time of using it. The 2nd one chipped while installing it. Spend the extra money and buy a good one. As much trouble as we have spent, I am glad I noticed it before we got the walls tiled. This tub is a steel tub with a very thin coating. Every time it flexes the coating chips.

Came with flaws

The tub came with a very obvious flaw in the corner. The enamel is scraped off and will show ones the back is installed. After all the hassle of getting this thing to our second floor bathroom we aren’t going to try and return it. Have to cover it with an enamel repair kit. There is ZERO way whoever boxed this didn’t see the flaw *Shaking my head*

Do Not Buy This Tub

If I could give zero stars I would have. I decided to do a bathroom renovation, which was not cheap. Within a month of installation of this tub, I started getting rust spots coming through where there should be porcelain. Clearly, not enough porcelain coating was applied or this wouldn't be happening. Now the only way to fix this is to replace the tub. But that means I have to have the tile and drywall gutted in order to get the tub out and start again. Very, disappointed in the quality o...

Don't buy

So I bought the Mansfield 30x60profitsteel xd right drain. Had a plumber installing tub and I'm doing the rest. I got the tub I had bought out for the plumber and when I opened the box there was a big chip by the drain. So Lowes traded it for me no big deal. It's a very beautiful bathtub. I like the fact that no rug has to be used to make it slip proof.

We have to go with a different tub

We went through five of these tubs. They were all damaged. We finally gave up and are going with another tub. The enamel seems to crack/peek so easily that they are all damaged. Nice size soaking well, so I wanted to make it work.

Thin glaze

The porcelain paint is very very thin. It chipped easily. I returned 2 already. The one I put in was chipped in a way I can cover. Only reason I took it is that I needed A metal tub for my bathroom. I plan to unfortunately deglaze it when it chips further. Luckily I know a great company that reglazes.

This worked well for me in the space I had for it.

Great tub great value

This tub looks great and is a good value. Has a slant for comfort when you lean back and has a smooth inside bottom. Outside finish is a white and shiny. Only about 80 pounds so it can be easily managed. Had to look through several to find one with no chips.
