broke on first swing
Would Not RecommendI was borrowing a different shape tapper that was working great for a couple rooms. chips started coming off, so I wanted to replace it for the person I was borrowing it from. I got one tapper just for me. The tapper broke first swing. Another person I met in the store said the same thing. Don't buy this kit, just use a scrap piece of flooring. I need to return the kit

Would RecommendYou could use almost anything for spacers because you take them out when you’re done anyway. But, they’re in there so might as well use them. The tap block ditto. You could use a block of wood but it’s in there so use it. The pull bar is almost indispensable especially when working close to the walls. The kit is $20.00 so on a project of significant cost (mine was $900.00) it really is a drop in the bucket even if you never use it again.

Would RecommendThe tools in the kit are good basic tools. The drawbar tends to bend except on small jobs. It is easy to bend back, which is why it is easy to bend out of shape in the first place. With experience, off cuts from the flooring can be cut to use as alternate fitting blocks which are less likely to damage the flooring ends. Expect to buy extra spacers for medium to large projects.
