What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise this rake for its lightweight design and ease of handling, particularly for small yards, light leaf cleanup, and users with physical limitations. Many find it ideal for delicate tasks like raking flower beds or St. Augustine grass without damage, and appreciate its flexibility in tight spaces. However, durability concerns significantly temper enthusiasm—a substantial portion report plastic components snapping, bending, or cracking within minutes or first uses, with handles fracturing at the base. While some acknowledge reasonable value for occasional light use, others express disappointment that it fails quickly compared to sturdier models. Overall, satisfaction heavily depends on usage intensity and expectations.

Would Not RecommendThe first time I used this rake I knew it wasn't going to last. The tines are metal but the rest is plastic. You can hardly rake anything with it. It was the only choice and I needed a rake that day, so I bought it. Rakes with metal tines attached to metal are much stronger.

Infinitely superior to plastic times rakes
Would RecommendManufacturing ok and I'm glad Lowes is offering a better option to plastic tined rakes. This new rake will certainly outlast any plastic option but is not as well crafted as the tools of old.

Good within it's limits
Would RecommendThis take has a solid handle and is light weight. It is best suited for leaves or other light jobs. Grass clippings see yo be a bit much for it.

Pulls leaves out of ditches
Would RecommendAnd springs them out! Light and springy. Does the job and well worth the price.

should cost $3 less
Would Not RecommendIt was pretty inexpensive compared to all metal and all plastic rakes. Unfortunately the metal overwhelms the plastic when you use it vigorously. I used a cash coupon and purchased two of these and I am a registered veteran. I got them for a big discount. I will see how they hold up overall but I am thinking spending twice as much and purchasing an all metal or all plastic rake may put you ahead of the cost curve.

I also love this rake!
Would RecommendI've had one (same style, actually sears made in usa) for 15-20 years and love it, it's still %100 a good rake I can't do without. It's excellent at moving leaves. The plastic ones are very in-efficient don't bother wasting your money.

Lotta flex
It's a traditional rake, but I don't remember the one I had for over 30 years having such fleecy times. Does the job though. It's a small yard with very little leaf issues. Otherwise I recommend one of the sturdier plastic lawn rakes.

It's a rake y'all!
Would RecommendWhat can I say? It's a rake! It rakes leaves! I'm happy! Go buy one and you too can be happy!
Excellent rake
Would RecommendExcellent for the price I paid. Does exactly what I need it for. Gets into those places I need it to go.
Broken
Broke within 20 minutes. Not quite broken though. The screw holding the handle to the head kept coming out! The hole was drilled just slightly too big for the screw and even with stopping to tighten every 10 minutes or so the screw eventually just came out. Went back and realized all of this model had loose screws and ended up trading it in for a more expensive and better made rake.
Plastic broke before finishing lawn
Would Not RecommendDon't waste your money. I'm on the phone now trying to get a refund. I expect to pay $8, take care of it and get a couple seasons out of this. Nope. This is not the case with this product. Don't waste your time or money. The plastic fan that supports the metal blades broke in 3 places, before even finishing the lawn. It wasn't even a heavy duty job. I'm just a homeowner, not a contractor and this product fails even the simplest tasks. I live on 1/3rd of an acre lot, so this wasn't a larg...
It's a ... rake
Basic metal rake that is happy to gather leaves in a pile for you.
exactly what we needed
Would RecommendThe lightweight design helps in removing leaves from mulch.
Blue hawk rake.
Would Not RecommendIt's good for leads but nothing else, its dollar general quality and cheap. My advice is to spend the extra 2$ for a better rake.
