What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise this rake for its lightweight design and ease of handling, particularly for small yards, light leaf cleanup, and users with physical limitations. Many find it ideal for delicate tasks like raking flower beds or St. Augustine grass without damage, and appreciate its flexibility in tight spaces. However, durability concerns significantly temper enthusiasm—a substantial portion report plastic components snapping, bending, or cracking within minutes or first uses, with handles fracturing at the base. While some acknowledge reasonable value for occasional light use, others express disappointment that it fails quickly compared to sturdier models. Overall, satisfaction heavily depends on usage intensity and expectations.

Those leaves didn’t stand a chance
Would RecommendThrow your current rake away, it’s garbage. Doesn’t matter if it was hand made by Al Borland himself. Get yourself a Blue Hawk rake. This thing will go scorched earth on all the leaves and other stuff. It practically rakes itself. Your wife might even leave for this rake as it can actually finish the job.

Light Duty Only
Would Not RecommendMy wife picked this up for our small yard. She was able to use it fine, but 10 mintutes after I got it in my hands, I went to rake a medium pile of leaves and the handle snapped in two. It is pretty light so it might be useful for a grandma who only has 5 leaves to rake, but will just break when you have a job that needs to get done.

Yard Rake
Would RecommendThis rake is awesome, it’s just what need for the small yard I have. It’s inexpensive, yet durable to do the job needed around my place. I’m always using Lowe’s for all of my lawn and grading needs.

Just right for the job
Would RecommendThis was needed for a small job. Price was great and easy to get.

I thought its construction to be designed for future failure. The tines were only inserted in a plastic mold. Not very solid, but it did do the job that day that I needed. If it hold together for the next job then I'll have gotten my moneys worth.
