What Customers Are Saying
The wind guards effectively block wind and maintain consistent griddle temperatures, especially in windy conditions. They heat the griddle more quickly and evenly, preventing cold spots and uneven cooking. However, some customers experienced issues with the fit and compatibility, particularly with griddles that have lids or side shelves. A few found the wind guards to be of lower quality than expected. Overall, the wind guards are a valuable accessory for improving outdoor griddle performance in windy environments, but compatibility should be verified before purchasing.

Wind Guards for 36 inch Grill
Would RecommendThes do what they are intended for. Grilling in a windy day can be bothersome but this is an easier fix. Although if you have a top and you hang your top on the back of the grill while you’re grilling then the side plates are the only ones you need.

Back guards catch on lid.
The back guards catch on the lid when opening and closing. Therefore I don't use them.

Must have
I had to get these wind guards. I live in a windy area and have tried to cook without them but the wind really causes the heat distribution to be unpredictable.

Wind Guards save you money!
Would Recommendthe wind guards do in fact block the wind - with the slide edges having the slant towards the front the guards some times get a little misplaced, but sliding it back into place is very simple. The guards block the wind so you don't have to have the burners turned up so high, which saves you money and time.

There are not screws to attach the wind guards. They are designed to hang off the griddle top only.
