Worked well

Used it in small space to clear air bubbles from finish. Worked at any angle I had to turn it to.

The dial is defective. Have to turn a long way to get any propane flow.

Bernzomatic Propane Torch

Works great. I killed a bunch of ants in the driveway the other day when I was bored. Good times.

Packaging miss leading

This is not the one that starts and stops with the trigger, although the packaging eludes to that.

Very Handy Torch.

This torch is a lot more user friendly in the fact you don't have to keep a torch igniter in your hand to relight it every time you let go of the flow valve. Plus the flow valve does as its name implies, it adjusts the flow of gas so you can vary the flame without having to put the solder down. .

Works Great

Hopefully Vulcan won't jinx me when I report I've had this torch for more than a decade and it's still going strong. I like: screws onto any standard propane tank, short & fat or tall & skinny integrated ignitor is both convenient and reliable simple controls: crack it open, light 'er up fat hand grip is both pleasingly ergonomic and lessens the tendency to grab onto the conveniently skinny, but hot metal part of a torch Having such a convenient torch around makes me find all sorts of novel uses...

Good, but not as good as an older model

Dropped my old torch, which had a rubber grip. This torch doesn't have a solid feel, but gets the job done. Save a few dollars and buy the kit with the cylinder, which was cheaper at the time of this writing.

Don't buy

Difficult to light and will not stay lit,goes out most of the time when tilted,which is not what you need for plumbing or soldering.......

LOVE this tool!

This torch has been a great purchase! This was my first try with a torch, so I wanted something that we could use for a variety of projects around the house. A friend of mine had one and recommended it, and she uses hers for cooking, which I had never really thought of. This was easy to light, and I am excited to see more projects I can use this with.

Don't Buy

I recently purchased this torch head because I liked the trigger function. When I got it out of the package I was surprised to realize it was almost completely made of plastic and felt cheap. The trigger does light the torch as long as the gas dial is turned up, but the only point of the trigger is to light the torch. The trigger does nothing but create a spark.
