Packs a punch!

I’m very impressed with this product. It’s very affordable in its purchase cost and it’s usage costs. We feed our pet cat in our out building. We were covered up with flys, gnats and stink bugs. I placed this light into the light socket and flipped the switch following the manufacturer instructions. Works like a charm. No more swarms of pests.which keeps us and our cat very happy. SCAM!!!

Got this thinking that I was getting a bug zapper. Not what I got at all. It's just two different lights in one. The blue/purple light isn't a fluorescent bulb like most bug zapper light bulbs. Its led instead. It in no way has the recommend uv light to actually attract any kind of bugs at all. Even if a bug managed to get inside. It doesn't have enough power to kill them. Great Indoor Bug Attractor

Purchase a new lamp just so I could put this bulb in it to try to get rid of gnats constantly bugging me in my home office. So now I'm out the cost of the lamp AND this garbage bulb! I had it installed for several days with a shade on the lamp and NOTHING. Gnats seemed even more active with it on. Decided maybe the shade was interfering with how it worked so took the shade off so the bugs could easily get to the UV light. Again the opposite effect - more bugs and more active! This thing is...

Something different

I found this light bulb in it's case before it was put on the shelf. I bought one out of curiosity. I little pricy, so I only bought one. It's a light bulb and a bug zapper in one. If you flip the switch, both come on. Turn it off and on again, and only the bug zapper it on. Pretty cool. Even comes with a brush you can use to clean the grid when you open up the lower bulb area. Gnats from my plants in the soil, but since I got I don't notice them.

Other people seem to have a good experience with this, but it was completely useless for me. Not sure why it did not work for me.

So essential!

When we first into our apartment in Fullerton we couldn't even sit in the backyard for 5 minutes without being eaten alive. After 2 months of having this bulb/zapper we've been able to enjoy break and dinner with each other and guests as a result of the decrease in live bugs. We flip the switch on to activate the zapper in the bulb before we go to bed and when we wake up there's usually a handful to a dozen bugs in our what we like to call "skeeter trap". So cool to see.

Perfect

Both provide light and zaps the pesky mosquitoes on my outside porch. Couldn't ask for a better product. The product can switch between zapper only mode or light and zapper mode.
