Not big enough for me

They do what they say they do as far as filling up with bugs but I think maybe they're not big enough because I still have issues with mosquitos.

Black Flag delivers another great product!

Affordable product that has so far delivered results as expected - I would purchase this again in the future if needed.

Works as advertised

The size of this unit was advertised for 1/2 acre. I placed it near a pool and deck (still under construction). I did notice a sharp reduction in nagging insects while working on the deck. There was a dramatic decrease in insects in my pool filter. So I think it worked very well.

Does a great job!

This Black Flag bug zapper did a great job! I hung it on front porch and plugged it in and it was great right off the bat. The attractant drew the insects in and ZAP! So much nicer to sit here without having to swat at bugs.

Zap Bugs

Put this bug zapper out in front of my garage overnight. Seems to do it's job. There were several moths and a mosquito still on the grid. Probably zapped more mosquitoes than that, but they're small and probably fell to the bottom. It's about the end of the season, but I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of it next spring and summer.

Works Great

The Black Flag Bug Zapper is a good deal. Definitely attracts insects. My only issue is that we want to use for our deck and if it is too close there are more bugs close by. Just be sure to put it away from where you want to enjoy and it will help control those bothersome insects.

Simple and Effective!

This is not a hardcore last your lifetime bug zapper, but it is effective and affordable! The size is pretty large and it is strong enough to kill some pretty big bugs! I like that they incorporated a mosquito attractant into the unit as well. The only minor knock I could come up with for this unit is that I wish the cable were slightly longer. All in all it is a pretty nice unit!

Underwhelming

Got this to try to deal with flies in the kitchen. It managed to deal with one or two but overall was not worth the effort. Flies more attracted to food and other things in the kitchen than the light. Would not recommend

Black Flag Bug Zapper

I hoped this zapper would work well on the mosquitoes and gnats during a recent camping trip but was somewhat disappointed. The zapper comes with a mosquito attractant which I used and it seems there were only a few around the campsite, however it did nothing for the gnats. At the end of the weekend when I went to put the zapper back in storage for the next trip, I cleaned the dead bugs out and found mostly moths and only a few mosquitoes, no gnats could be seen. Bug zapper

Small bug zapper with about a 15" cord, definitely need to attach an extension cord 20' away from the desired areas for bugs to he zapped. However, I didn't noticed much of a difference in zapping the mosquitoes as I was getting bit. However, didn't see other types of flying insects, so it does work, just not for mosquitoes.

Don’t like that they suggest you use a mosq bait

Attracts well but has an extremely short cord. But it does the job.

Better then expected

I routinely play ball with my two Golden Retrievers just outside of my garage. I was getting eaten up by mosquitos until I put this bug light just outside the garage a few weeks ago. Even at dusk I've had no issues with bugs. Works great, just might need a longer eectrica cord.

Good for wooded back yard

We've searched for a solution to our very buggy wooded back yard area for years. This may be it! Its been on for about a week and there do seem to be less mosquitos but a good year long test will be needed to see how well it does at peak times. The instructions suggest it can be left out from early Spring to late Fall but to take it in during extreme weather. It does appear to be constructed well enough to endure being outside all season. The plug seems like it should be more weather tight ...

Buy Several

There's nothing to the set up of this thing. You take it out of the box, hang it up, and plug it in. On the box it claims it will clear a 20 foot area of mosquitoes and I believe they are right about that. I work in my open garage quite a bit and the mosquitoes drive me crazy, especially in the fall. So I hung this puppy in my garage and now my time out there is so much better. When I leave the garage and maybe work on my boat, the mosquitoes descend on me at one, but inside the garage it'...

Not effective

Used it on my patio. The only thing it attracted was a few moths. Did not work for mosquitoes and flies. I would not recommend this product.posted 3 similar pictures because you can’t do anything else.
