Glass shattered

I like this coffee machine but then the glass broke in just a few months. I didn’t even drop it or anything it just broke.

My carafe broke!!!!

Great machine perfect for my office! My carafe broke. How can I order a replacement?

Perfect size!

I bought this coffee pot over a year ago to have on my desk at work. It's the perfect size and I have had no issues with it whatsoever and I use it every single day. I did break the carafe yesterday though and I am in the same boat that I'm unable to find a replacement carafe online for Black and Decker that is the right size for this pot. I see other people have had this issue as well. Help, I need my little coffee pot back to make it through my day at work!

Great for Dorm!!

A lot of these reviews are really negative, but I have no problem with my little coffee maker! It is perfect with my little coffee bar in my dorm, I use it to make iced coffee by brewing 5 cups and then putting it in a glass jar in my fridge! I am a coffee fanatic and this machine is perfect, especially on a budget.

Great size, broke carafe though :(

NOT HOT COFFEE

Just disappointed...5 cup coffee maker makes barely warm coffee ,....makes 5= 6 ounce "cups" (although a cup is 8 ounces)....just fine for senior bachelor and the price was good. But the cold coffee- bad....: (....making the price ,..bad. Cannot even take it back as I have misplaced the bill : (..... Normally read product reviews,...sorry I did not on this purchase.... Back to instant coffee.

on and off switch

I bought my 5 cup coffee maker about 5 months ago and I make coffee everyday before work my week off started off bad due to the on/off switch broke off so I can not use it overall it works good just need to know if the switch can be replaced or do I need to throw it away and buy a new one

not worth the money

I received this coffeemaker as a gift two years ago. Since I already had a Mr. Coffee and it was still working fine, I decided to store this one until I needed it. A week ago my Mr. Coffee gave up after 6 years of daily use. I got out the black and decker and I am truly disappointed. I made a pot of coffee and found that I only had about 2 cups. The rest of the water was all over my counter. I turned it over and discovered that the water was leaking out of the bottom of the coffee maker....

Works Great

Not sure what the negative reviews are all about. This coffee maker is simple and makes great coffee. My wife and I drink a cup each every morning. I set it up before we go to bed and switch it on in the morning. Coffee is ready in about 5 minutes and it's excellent. We have owned this one for three years with absolutely no problems (except trying to find a replacement carafe). We actually own two, as we purchased one for our RV.

5 Cup Coffee Maker

This coffee maker has 48 reviews of which 12 are 2 of 5 stars and 19 are only 1 star! I simply does not work and should be taken off the market. It turns the water to steam which makes the kitchen feel like a sauna and virtually no water or steam goes through the filter to the pot. It simply does not make a pot of coffee. I expected more from a Black and Decker product.

Stopped working over night

I am using this for the past 4 months or so. last week it stopped working and wouldn't heat the water at all. Though the light turns on, the water is never heated. I was browsing online for a possible cause and I see that the heating coil, temperature fuse or the ceramic relays could be the cause of I am not able to find spares. Either ways it is terrible news that my 4-month-old coffee machine has stopped working all together!

5 cup black coffee maker

I bought this coffee maker for my apt since it's usually just me. I followed through with all the instructions, so far so good. The next day I made coffee, and later found that it had dripped all over the counter. I washed it and checked for cracks and didn't see anything. I tried it again two more times after that and still found coffee under the machine and counter. Apparently the drip is coming from the metal ring on the carafe.

5-cup coffee maker

I bought this coffee maker 4 days ago. I did the initial run through a cycle with water to clean out.....worked fine. The next morning I made a pot of coffee and it leaked all over the counter! The next two days, worked great. I'm reserving judgement until I've had it a little longer. I do like the size, it's easy to clean, and it keeps the coffee hot. I'll post another review at a later date.

I'm not happy

I got this coffee maker as a gift. My friend bought it from the US. It stopped working after only 3 days. It's not brewing at all.

Very simple coffeemaker

I just wanted a coffeemaker that makes coffee in small amounts because I am the only one in my house that drinks coffee. This one suits me fine. There is no clock or timer etc. There is only one thing I don't like and that is that I think the coffee should be just a little bit hotter.

What a joke!

I literally just bought it and I'm about to throw it out. Takes 15 minutes to brew one cup of coffee. Why did you even make this coffee maker B and D?!! Horrible don't waste your money

Terrible design

I drink like 5 to 10 cups of coffee and this machine is junk. Water comes over the basket container on to the warmer.

Lasted 20 months

I bought this July 2015 after moving to NY. I've used it once every day since, brewing between 1 and 2 cups of coffee at a time because I'm a busy healthcare provider who needs her coffee every day. Then a week ago it stopped working. The on/off light turns on but nothing brews. This is despite cleaning it periodically with vinegar-water as per the instructions. Very disappointed this product did not last longer as it is the perfect size for my NYC apartment. My grandfather always had Black and ...

Small life

Was working well, but exactly 3months after purchase it stoped working. Do I need to buy a new one every 3 months???
