Solid Electrical Trimmer

I was in the market for a light, electrical trimmer I have a 1/4 acre lot with a mild incline. The trimmer comes with two chargers. GREAT BUY!!

This is a very reasonably priced trimmer/edger that works really well! We were able to use it almost immediately out of the box because the batteries were already charged. It is easy to switch from trimming edging and it is lightweight enough to trim our steep hillsides!

Lightweight

This trimmer is really light and just right for a older person we were having trouble handling our old trimmer but this one is easy to handle.

Love this product.

I currently have this product but ordered another as I have the current one for 2 years, so this is a replacement. The price was right so I bought a new one. Coming with 2 batteries the machine pays for itself. It does do a magnificent job. The only problem I have is sliding the battery onto the equipment. You need to get it exactly right.

Bought this online as it was available to pick up in store, was ready in 1 and half hours. Strong enough, battery charged for hours though but lasted for what I needed done-about 30 min. Love it's electric and cordless.

Another Black and Decker Winner

I am an intermediate level woodworker and landscaper/gardener. I have to budget carefully for my tool purchases. Over the years, I have come to realize that the best power tools as far as value is concerned (cost to performance ratio) are Black and Decker. I've been burned too many times by the expensive "professional" tools to risk buying them if B&D has the same tool. My main trimmer for years (20+) was a corded Ryobi. Decided to venture into cordless models a few years ago; bought an Earthwise Echo (?), 18v, and it proved to be an absolute dude. Hesitant but exceeds expectations

I've always owned gas trimmers but the last one died. Being a woman, trying to start the gas ones was a nightmare. Gas powered ones also are heavier which becomes tiring after a while. I purchased this at Lowes after returning a Kobalt 40V edger/trimmer that just used up WAY to much spool in a short time frame. This Black & Decker was a downgrade in terms of Price and battery(20V), but as it turns out it was so worth it! It's lightweight, easy to flip from trimmer to edger with a button and twist! Good Home Cordless Trimmer

Like most have commented previously, this is really easy to use because it is incredibly light. The battery lasted three times as long as my old NiCad equipped trimmer and ran really quite.It can be a bit difficult to get in tight spots when using this as an edger because the housing can get in the way, but the ease of switching it back and fourth makes up for that inconvenience. Little power and less life than i expected.

I am tired of using a corded trimmer and thought I would change to a cordless. I expected it to have a little less power than my last corded trimmer, but it has significantly less powerful, so much so it was hard to trim any of my yard. And I went through 2 full batteries to trim one 20'X20' yard of tall grass and some weeds. And it took me 4+ hours to even get that mostly done. My yard looks like it was trimmed with a hatchet and I will have to return this machine and go back to a corded trimm...

I was surprised how well it worked

I have purchased other Black & Decker battery products and have been very pleased with them. I wondered if this trimmer would be good enough for our needs and was very pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. Light and easy to use.

My wife actually helped me take care of our land. She edged the entire lawn then weedeated the fenceline and around the trees. Batteries lasted for the whole yard (.6 acre). Excellent product. If your a single mom with a lawn.... or like me getting up there in years. Ease of use cannot be beat. Easy string change. Auto feed actually works. Amazing.

Best whapper I have ever had.

so tired of always having to pull the electric cord around and the thought of pulling on a gas type was not me. The battery is great...does my yard with the two batteries and I'm pleased. Finally I can enjoy it.

Better than i expected.

The trimmer was easy to use and well balanced. I had hoped for longer battery life, but with two batteries I was able to complete all of my trimming.

glad I bought

Very lightweight. Easy to use. Charged battery runs at least an hour on slow speed. Plus it comes with an extra battery. I like that it self feeds the line.

Buyer Beware

The batteries are supposed to last 1 hour. I guess that is for power 1. However on power 1, they last 22 minutes at the most. On power 2, they last 13-15 minutes. Since it takes at least 5 hours to recharge the battery, it can can take several days to get the job done. The best thing I can about it is that it is light weight.
