Great Little Sander

This is a great little sander for small jobs. You will need to read the instructions so you know how to cut the sandpaper from sheets and using the paper punch to punch holes in the paper. If you read the instructions you should have no problem in using sandpaper sheets. The dust bag works great in catching most of the sawdust. Easy to use and perfect size. Even my two young grandsons can easily use it. They were able to sand wood pieces we were using for lamps each was making. Works great.

They DON"T carry the paper

They don't carry sand paper to match this sander All they have is 220 grit (fine). Otherwise you have to cut sheets to fit. Had to go to Harbor fright for sand paper. They have a sander thee.

rec'd on time, pkg ok instrutions ok. template for putting hole in sndprp was helpful. this sander is not good for sanding patched hoes. sets off smoke alarms. does an ok job. not for the pro

Nice little sander

I bought this to do craft projects and it is perfect! I like that you can use regular sandpaper and the dust catcher comes in handy.

I’m only using it on small projects. So works great.

Works great

Very affordable and works great. Power is activated by palm pressure on grip service. If you lose grip it stops great safety.

Dont use for drywall.

Great sander but do not use for sanding drywall mud. The fine dust killed my sander. They do mention this in the manual. Should have read that part first.

Broke down after first project

This sander works great but breaks quickly. It began making a grinding noise and then stopped running after sanding a few cabinet doors.

Replacement sandpaper doesn't exist

Comes with correctly cut square that not even B&D have a part number for. No pre-holed sanding squares can be found in my search. The outside of box doesn't mention a hole punch plate is included with kit. Booklet explains its use, BUT the hole punching plate doesn't line up with the sander. I bought solely for this dust collecting function, and I feel like I've been lied to by B&D. Sander works.. but good luck finding correct paper, or cutting holes out yourself on replacement paper.

Great Sander!

Love the hole punch plate that comes with it. It allows me to use generic sandpaper pieces, but the vacuum still works!

Dont wast your money

I’m not a contractor. I only use this for my home. In the past 3 1/2 years i have bought 3 black and decker sander and all 3 started smoking. Waste of money.
