Great for the money

I love this sander! I think this is my fifth or sixth one in the past fifteen years or so. They do an exceptional job prepping lumber before use. They are priced reasonably and provide great service. Contact their parts dept if you need help or to order parts.

DON'T BUY THIS JUNK

Horrible design on the paper clamps. The sheets won't stay on for more than a minute of sanding, then reattaching is useless. They detach within 2 seconds. Junk - to the garbage can. Way too frustrating.

Worst sander

This is the WORST sander I have ever used!! The clamps didn’t keep the sheets on, the sheets slid side to side. I spent half my time re-putting the sheets on than sanding!! Do not recommend this product AT ALL.

My first sander!

Because of the pandemic I've spent a lot of time watching YouTube videos which have got me interested in repurposing old items. I bought an old entertainment center and have been turning it into a toy kitchen for my kids. I bought this sander so I could sand it down before painting it. I'm very new to all this and this is my first sander so I'm not even sure if I got the right type for the job I'm doing. However, it works great! I was able to sand everything down and repaint it with no problems....

Good little sander

I bought this sander for some small projects with my grandsons. I like the size cause it would be easy for them to use. We have used on several wood projects and they have no problem in using it because of its size. If you buy this sander you need to read the instructions about the sandpaper and dust bag. A template comes with it so you can cut sandpaper sheets to the correct size and location for the holes in the paper so the dust catcher will work properly. Love this good little sander. Would ...

Product good, but can't find ready made sheets!

I like the ease of using the product. The venting collects most of all the wood dust. I haven't been able to find ready made sheets, that are cut to size, vented, and in assorted sizes! My local store only sells huge packs of each individual grit, coarse, and medium. I want an assortment pack, without cutting my own. Kind of ridiculous to me.

Sander pad

Purchased in December 2020. Works great on projects. Unfortunately the sander pad wore away to the point where the screws were scratching wood. But B & D quickly replaced my unit with a brand new within days of me bringing the issue to their attention.

Disappointed

There are holes in the machine to collect the dust but no paper for it to work properly. What was the purpose then?

Good

This is great for small projects. My wife bought this a couple years ago and uses It on her household projects and crafts. The cordless feature is great and It definitely gets the job done.

easy to use,and it does the job.

my fathers old b&d,(apprx. 50 years old) finally died,this one is also the same unit. all my tools are black & decker.
