What an improvement over previous designs

This is my 3rd BISSELL Cleaner in 30 years. The first two were great. The did the job, functioned well for years. But this one is a demonstration of pure engineering evolution. First- overall design is excellent. One container which holds the water and cleaning solution. Easy to fill and refill. A second to collect the waste water. My previous Proheat 2x had a joint container that was awkward to fill, had multiple pieces and was impossible to clean right. Speaking of cleaning- the bottom section...

Easy to use and works well.

Stops working too soon, attachment .not working

I’ve had this product for several years. The main annoyance is that the machine stops working before the dirty water reservoir is full, forcing me to empty it multiple times. And the upholstery attachment does not work, so I cannot do the stairs at all because the machine is too heavy. I will have to hire someone for that.

Perfect purchase!

This machine I used 3x so far, I cleaned my carpet and upholstery. I was very surprised of how clean everything came out. Also very embarrassed of the dirty water I emptied. So far I am so glad I purchased this machine. The only issue that was a little annoying is the dirty water tank fills up quick (on max)- other than that, this machine is perfect!!

I’ve had my Bissell steam carpet cleaner for a few months now and have only great things to say. I only take the time to review products that I either really like or am disappointed with. Dual brushes, easy to clean unit, large tanks.

Large capacity clean water & waste water tanks are easy to remove & replace. Easily removable clear cover on brush/suction head makes it quick to clean. Dual rotating brushes “fluff up” the carpet fibers to renew compressed carpet. Spot shot stain nozzle is a novel idea, allows you to soak a small stain area w/o having to carry a spray bottle while using. Great, but leaks!

Love this product, but I can’t give it 5 stars because it has constantly leaked after use since I took it out of the box. Aside from that, it’s awesome!

Great machine!

My dog has some intestinal issues. I needed something asap. Did some research and the ratings were good. I have never had a carpet cleaner before, but I have owned several Bissell products and have never been let down. It’s easy to use and maneuver. I love the little foot button, just above the wheel, it allows you to spot spray the area. This machine did not let me down, I would highly recommend it.

This product is easy to use and works very well on low and thick carpets. I purchased this for my grandfather who is 92, and he was able to use it without any problems.
