Not As Good As Past Bissell Machines

I've bought 3-4 Bissell brand vacuums in the past and have been satisfied with my purchases. I like the affordability of the product as well as the company donating to causes I care about. This most recent vacuum purchase was probably the most expensive of the vacuums I've used but feels the cheapest. I chose this specific model because it was advertised as pet hair friendly and included a HEPA filter. It's easy to move around and suction is fine but what really bothers me is the attachments. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Update on review; I have had for a month now. It is nice to not have the dog hair get caught in the brushes. Still have not tried washing the filters but continue to use the air compressor & that seems to work well. The light works well. Continue to be happy.

Buy it you'll Love it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used mainly for pet hair. Also really like the portable brush attachment for the stairs and hard to get to places. I really like the capability to dismantle easily to use as a handheld vac. for corners, high places and celling fans. The only negative thing is it is a little heavy but well worth investment.

I regrettably went to Bissell after having a Shark for years. This vacuum is terrible. It does not pick up the most obvious messes and I have to run over the floor three or four times to get it where it looks clean. I truly doubt it is picking up more than what is on the very surface of the carpet. The hose shocks me profusely while I'm using it, so I have to be careful to hold the vacuum away from me while I use it. The bristle on the end of the wand are annoying and pointless. I miss my p...

I will not be buying a Bissell ever again

I regrettably went to Bissell after having a Shark for years. This vacuum is terrible. I have 3 dogs & 2 that shred so I mostly use it on a couple of area rugs most every day. Went back to a corded , bagged vac for a few weeks. This vac picked up dog hair a lot better & did not get dog hair wrapped around the beater bar. Does not work “for pets” as branded

Terrible suction- states this is for pets but I have one short haired dog who does shed quite a bit but the LED headlight clearly shows me going over dog hair and none of it being picked up. The hose with attachment does work well but for the price I am extremely disappointed with the power when upright as well as the weight which makes it difficult to maneuver (and I am a 32 year old mom)
