I would buy this again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that it is cordless, comes with extra cleaner and sponge, it saves so much time cleaning up food and milk spills from my 13month old. I love the mop feature. Great Vaccum!

NOISY LOUD

The Crosswave was So Loud we couldn't stand it. Very Disappointed.

Not functional

I honestly detest this vacuum so much so it moved me to write this review. For the price you're paying, it is just not functional. The vacuum function has poor suction due to the weird plastic bend at the bottom which as a result, only takes very basic and surface level dirt. Honestly a manual broom would take away more dust. The mop function only spreads the dirt instead of cleaning it . The worst part is once you are done with either the mopping or vacuuming, you have to take it apart and deep...

I loved this bissel

But I guess because I kept it on the charger all the time the battery no longer holds the charge so as soon as I take it off the charger, it does not work and I need a new battery. That's why I'm on this website right now looking for how to purchase a new battery but if that never happened, I'd give this this five stars, it's so worth it!

Not worth the price

My husband bought this just over 3 years ago. Worked great until it didn't. Contacted Bissell and they told me it was 3 months out of warranty, was basically told too bad. No offer to help with anything. Will NEVER buy from them again. Which is sad! Thought I was buying a quality product but no. New Shark ordered!!!

Used to love it!

I used to love this product! I used it quite often until....I had to replace the handle. Since then it hasn't worked worth a darn! I have to "reset" the thing every time I want to use it and that usually doesn't work. I just give up after minutes of trying. I am beyond frustrated and so MAD that I don't have this to help me anymore. I have MS and relied on my crosswave to help keep my floors clean without wearing myself out. I'm back to the broom, mop & bucket again. Almost want to try another, ...

After three years I've had to replace both motors.

My crosswave worked ok for the first three years. You have to watch how much solution you use or it leaves a dirty water smear on the floor when you're done. Then it started screaming turns out the roller brush motor went bad so I replaced that. Used it two more times now the vacuum motor is screaming and that has to be replaced. This vacuum was like $500 when it first came out and has only lasted three years. Also this does more of a surface clean it does not replace and good old mop and bucket...

Bissel was able to respond to my previous post explaining that this device is not made for carpets. Correct. But I was attempting to clean an area rug. The amount of effort needed to set up and break down isn't worth the results. When I use on our hard floors, the wheels make streaks that are visible once the solution dries. Good for spills. But more that that I use my wet swifter or shampooer (as this device was not created for carpets...area carpets).

A good try

I've had mine for 3 years now. I really tried to love it. Such a good concept. But it's so much work to get ready, use and clean up. For my floors I use the swifter wet pad now. Just used again for my area rugs and so much effort to get back and forth. I'd rather just pull out my carpet shampooer. Now gotta go break down all the pieces and get the dirt it collected out. Can't wait.

I would definitely buy this machine again

Great for a house with pets and kids

I absolutely love my crosswave! It cleans my hardwood and tile much better than my mop or steam cleaner. However I will say I do vacuum first to get all of the hair and mess up. I have not tried it without doing any prep work. Also if you have more than 1400sqft to clean then you will have to charge it before continuing. The carpet feature isn't amazing but it does do a nice quick surface clean.

It did leave some streaks but I figured out that #1 when goung back not to release water and then it cleans up the streaks also the streaks happen when the bottom of the crosswave gets dirt stuck near the mini wheels so if I wiped off those dirt it was better. Sprayer stopped working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the capacity and convenence. However, I do not like the very weak suction motor at all. It leaves the floor much wetter than previous Bissell models. It also stays so wet inside so it begins to stink after a while. Then when used, it spreads the stink. The only way to prevent this is to tear down completly and clean after every use which defeats the convience factor. I've used only Bissell cleaning solution so far.
