Great vacuum cleaner. Works well on hard floors too.

Pluses and minuses: For the price I paid, I was happy

The CleanView® Plus Rewind Vacuum Cleaner is reasonably quiet; much lighter than my previous vacuum; and seems to have excellent suction. High marks for these items. On the negative side, I found the power switch (which one has to step on to start or stop the machine) to be cumbersome to use. I would have preferred one that is hand operated. I was also not really impressed by the cord rewind. Perhaps I am clumsy because I seem to be forever stepping on the cord. Sometimes, when I step on it and ...

Excellent it Is!

Absolutely a great product. It actually picks up the dirt completely. My carpet always look fresh and clean. I am totally satisfied with the service and performance of my product! If I had to make this purchase all over again it would certainly be a Bissell.

I bought this to use in our mainly hardwood floor home. It works very well, has great suction, and the retractable cord is convenient.

Bissell upright vacuum

I have always purchased Bissell products. This vacuum works great and I love the bare floor feature. The tool attachments is a plus and not to mention the rewind cord. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a good long lasting vacuum cleaner.

Great purchase

Great product. With the first use in a small apartment I filled the bin up. I actually thought my old vacuum was good. I now consider a higher price vacuum is what I should have considered buying but I can see all the dirt this one picked up that may well have been in my carpet for the last two years. I believe my apartment will be as clean as I used to think it was using my old vacuum. The one we question I cannot answer is we ill it be reliable and last at least two years.

Not like they used to be

I bought this to replace an older version that finally quit working. First of all it came badly assembled from the factory and I had to call customer service (off-shore) to help me get it working. They ended up telling me to return it to Lowe's. Following the steps of taking the brush belt off and putting it back on was very difficult because force is needed to get the belt back in place, it takes two people; but this took care of the problem. It works well but not as well as my 15 year old Biss...

The Bissell attachments are great for cleaning upholstery and pet hair!

General House Cleaning

Definitely worth the price

I use this on a daily basis as I have 3 dogs and a cat plus mechanics. This is the first vacuum that I have had that actually works for everything. The pet tool works great and I actually get the couches done in less than 10 minutes compared to the 45 it was taking before. For once I don't mind vacuuming.

I use this vacuum at least twice a week. It sucks up pet hair, litter, and dried mud without missing a speck.
