This is a great machine, ease of use in deep snow is good, throwing distance is wonderful, I recomend it to anyone who has the need for a large area with lots of snow.

Great snow blower
Starts easily, controls are laid out conveniently, and it makes short work of our driveway removing 8" of powder. Will recommend to others

Deluxe 28” Poor Engine
I had a 14 yr old 24” Simplicity with a 9.5 HP B&S engine. In comparison, this is a well built machine. Easy to handle, however, I used it for the first time in about 5” snow. The engine was laboring under load. If you must buy this model wait for the SHO. I’m disappointed in my purchase.

Nothing else compares!!
My parents bought an Ariens 24" 7hp in 1972. That's when I was hooked on the Ariens brand! I bought an Ariens Deluxe 28 just before snowstorm Amelia hit Northeastern Wisconsin. I woke up to 3" of slushy wet snow on the bottom with another 3" of wet heavy snow on top. The Deluxe 28 threw it 20' like a champ! Never clogged up, never skipped a beat! What a great way to break in my new machine! Since then I've used it in several more snowstorms, most of them wet heavy snow. The Ariens Deluxe 28 su...

Deluxe 28
Well finally got our first big snowfall of the year and got to use my new Deluxe 28. Wheeled it out and started with one pull and off it went, throwing snow very far and not slowing down at the mouth of the drive, where the plow had filled it. I'm very impressed with this machine and hope to get many years of use out of it. Way to go Ariens.

This snowblower starts easy and throws snow extremely far. It is very easy to turn and has great traction. The LED light comes in handy as well, since it gets dark around 5:00 this time of year. I’d would not hesitate to buy another.

FIRST SNOW WAS A BIG ONE
the first snow after i bought this was about a 18 to 20 inch dump as i live in Michigan in Keweenaw county were we get a lot of lake effect and snow when i opened my garage door the snow drift was about 4 foot high, i pulled my 28 deluxe up to it took a full bite and it walk its way right threw it with a snort and a grunt it took off and threw the snow like a champion! On a average i am blowing snow 4-5 times a week keeping in mind i dont blow anything less then 6-8 inches and i blow about a 1/2...

Excellent Snow Blower
I have had a Honda snowblower for over 22 years. It still works great but thought that I would like to try a new Ariens. I have the 28" 254 CC Deluxe, throws snow comparable to the much smaller Honda 6 hp. I am impressed with this Ariens although the Honda started much easier. All things considered, for the price it is an excellent machine. The only design feature that I do not like is the control for the chute (which way you throw the snow - left or right). You have to reach across with yo...

Solid
First snow blower I have used for any length of time. Used it three times so far and very solid performance. Easy to start and to turn. Just let it go at its own pace and it does the job.

Snow Monster
Had a couple of snow events in the last few weeks and this model has delivered as promised! Blizzard conditions last night and the machine knocked it out if the park! Very happy with the overall performance of this thrower! Glad to be part of the family finally!

Sure beats shoveling
At 80 years old, this is my first Snow Blower. I wanted the Deluxe 28" SHO version, but my dealers order never came in, so I took this one, A Deluxe 28" with a little less HP. Since I don't know the difference, I have to say it works great. It works as advertised. Nice machine.

It's a beast!
What a beast! Compared to my Troy built it throws the snow twice as high and far. I have to rethink how to clear my driveway so I don't throw Al the snow in my neighbors yard and blast my house. Even with deflector at low setting it still throws snow about 15 feet. But it sure goes through the snow, some drifts 2' deep didn't slow down. Like the turning radius.
