Wheels Loose/Wobble

After 2 years of light use the wheels are loose and wobble. Not a reliable machine ( Deluxe 28 Snow blower )

Carries on the reputation of my 25 year old Ariens

I have owned and operated two 24" Ariens snowblowers for over 25 years - both bought used. They were work horses but due to age both failed me with costly repairs - no complaints, just age and use. There was no consideration of buying another brand as Ariens had served me well. I purchased the 28 Deluxe the morning of the Great New England Blizzard and it cleared our 150 foot drive effortlessly with up to 28" of snow. Three strikes

Extremely disappointed with this snow blower. I tried 3 different 28 inch deluxe and none of the worked correctly. On two snow throwers the snow auger was engaged as soon as I started them. The third drove itself out of my garage and down the driveway. I do not feel safe letting my kids learn on and use these.

So far used it for 2 really big snow storms. It cleared my driveway and my two neighbors driveways with no issues at all! 5 outtve 5!

I'm in my 6th year with my Ariens Deluxe 28. It has performed admirably in all kinds of snow scenarios. The auto-turn feature is what attracted me to the model. It is starting to show some wear on the drive part and may need some PMI. Otherwise it is a super good snow blower.,

Love it, Easy to handle and work. I am a 64 year old female who had never ran a snow blower blower before.I am not the size of a man I am only 5' 1" if someone is wondering. We got hit with a huge storm and there was no way I was going to be able to shovel it. Quick trip to local store and have a machine I love. It's been a life and back safer.

Great machine

I've had this machine for a month or so and have used it for two large snowfalls ( 8 to 12 inches) . It performs well and other than a screw for the exhaust shield falling out due to vibration, it has not had any issues. The machine has been able to deal with whatever snow I have dug it into.

The machine I bought only used once the year.Impressed with its ease of manoeuvrability and the amount of snow it can throw.I would recommend Ariens to anyone looking for a snowblower.

This machine is a BEAST

This machine eats and spits out the snow and ice with ease. Compared to the old machine I used for the last 10 years, this machine would destroy it with ease. Thanks for making such a great machine for me and everyone else who is smart enough to buy one.

Not bad

My first snow blower and it seems like a solid unit. Engine is great. Seems like it was built with the assumption you will actually change the oil - I like that. Starts easily. Build is good but it does have some things I'd like to see re-engineered. 1) throttle control. -worthless since it's hard to get to. Odd configuration also. 2) fuel cut off - it turns away from the on/off sticker. Already broke knob turning it the wrong way. Printed a new one. 3) metal fuel tank. Not a fan. ...

This machine is a beast, powers through slush without slowing down. A huge improvement over the 5 hp craftsman I’ve been struggling with for 15 years. Worth every penny.

Second rate

This is the fourth season of use and finally enough time to clarify how poorly it performs the job of clearing snow. Sufficient power and excellent starting, but three snow clearing shortcomings. Worst, the machine leaves two large shovelfuls of snow whenever I stop and turn it around. Even running the rotor for five seconds without moving the wheels does not prevent the dumping. So. The new chute control is ridiculous, the old way was fine. Also they lost some of the radius of the chute control for apparently no reason. Can't throw snow over your shoulder anymore. The new AX engine seems powerful enough, but the throttle arrangement is ridiculous and difficult; just end up leaving it on full throttle all the time. Gas tank is too small and metal instead of plastic. Why?? We all know metal causes condensation in the tank. Ridiculous. Auto Steer just makes you fight const...

28" Deluxe

2nd Sno Thro was purchased this year. I had no question as to which brand to buy. Ariens snowblowers have been in my garage over 30 years, tried and tested, I need no other.

It’s a little under powered for the size and the connector for the head lamp was disconnected. It’s also a little hard to check the oil level, because the level indications are such a small area. But it sure looks nice and did a decent job on 10” of heavy wet snow.

Blows snow good and can blow it across the street. I am impressed after having Toro and Honda machines.
