Would RecommendThe was a terrible experience just no other way to say it. I ordered the item online. A 28 inch snow blower and drove 45 minutes to pick it up assembled. Got home and it ran for about 10 minutes. Likely a manufacturer defect as the drive belt came loose and caused damage. This isn't something that is touched in Assembly. I drive down the next day to do an exchange. The woman at customer service who was probably stressed as it was busy was not the most helpful. While she did do the ret...

No cord included
Would Not RecommendI think it is ridiculous that a snow blower that is advertised with electric start has NO electric cord included so I can't use the electric start function. Very disappointed!!!!

Decent, but could use improvement.
Would RecommendWas not able to get warranty signup to work. Originally pulled to the Left. Found it had not been assembled properly, reassembled and pulling went away. Found led light to be dim. Installed my own Rectifier/LED lights and now have decent light. Locking handle is on Wheel drive side. (where you would use your left hand to steer chute) It would be more intuitive and useful on the right (Auger) control.

Deluxe 28"
Would Not RecommendAssembly pictures also need written instructions. Some steps are vague. Had to go to YouTube for clarification. The auto turn causes more trouble than it's worth. Fight it if surface is not level. I should have researched this feature before purchase. I probably would not have bought it.

A NEW ARIENS AT THE SAME COST AS MY OLD 2005 UNIT
Would RecommendThankyou Ariens and Lowes. Ariens is for me the most reliable Brand. I have been using My 18 year old Ariens 926 which has never failed to start and only had its oil changed every year. I decided to finally upgrade even though the old 926 is still performing really well. I’m in my eighties and the assisted steering feature on the new model will be a huge relief to my shoulders. I Live in New Hampshire where we get deep snow falls. My driveway is very steep and 450 feet long. No snowplough compa...

don't buy from lowes
Would Not Recommendthey will sell you a 1400 machine but when it breaks 30 minutes into first use, they won't accept return and have to call manufacturer. they don't stand behind what they sell.

Not the old Ariens quality
Would Not RecommendMy grandfather had an Ariens snowblower for over 20 years and swore by it. This one is pretty weak and every component that adjusts the blower shaft broke the first time using it. Infact the crank shaft to adjust the shaft direction completely detached and fell off. Not a great indication of how long this thing will last.
