Would RecommendAmes makes the best garden tools, particularly shovels, made. I wish that they had stuck with hand tools. I bought two of these hose reels. I use 5/8" hose and the reel accommodates about 75' feet of hose. The "Never Leak" name incorporated into the product caption is purely a sales gimmick as it definitely leaks. The mechanism works well, it is attractive and is easy to mount. While i do not believe that it is what is claimed, it is the best item of its kind I could find.

The anchors that came with the reel are cheap and it came right out the wall do dint bother using those! We are pretty handy and have all the correct tools. We tried sleeve anchors IMPOSSIBLE to line up holes correctly with template or without template marking holes. No success with that! Patched all the hiles repainted exterior wall.
