Would RecommendIn regards to mounting, the hose reel itself was not heavy and easy to hold and install yourself. In my case I was mounting to the wood paneled wall in our garage.

Would Not RecommendThe spool works as advertised. Never leaked. But after 18 months, both threaded nozzles in-flow from spicket and out-flow to water hose, corroded and would not allow either hose to be disconnected. Outflow snapped off while using a wrench to disconnect. This product has only been used with residential water supply.
Don't Overtighten Leader Hose
Got this because it's metal and I figured it would be sturdy. The leader hose connector is cheap. I busted through it tightening it on the hose bibb, and I'm just a small woman with a wrench. I used a hose repair kit to make a new connection. I'm otherwise happy with the reel.
Neverleak Is Just Marketing Term
Would Not RecommendI have owned a couple of these reels for three years. One has started to leak so I checked out the warranty. https://www.ames.com/resources/warranty/ Note that failures due to "normal wear and tear" are *not* covered by the warranty. These reels are way too expensive to have such a useless warranty. "Neverleak" is meaningless marketing with no real value.
Good quality, no leaks
Would RecommendGood quality no leaks compact design. Installed this item in about 20 minutes and it works great. The connection hose it comes with was a little stiff but works fine with no leaks. Used this for my 75 ft garden hose and has plenty of room to spare.

Tiniest Reel EVER!
Would Not RecommendThough built with quality materials, the size of the hose reel is one major issue: it does NOT hold the advertised 125 feet of hose! The hose reel barely holds 50 feet of "normal" garden hose. We're talking a normal-sized garden hose with diameter of about 2". The supply hose that feeds the hose reel barely has a diameter of 3/4"! This causes a secondary issue in regards to functionality: water pressure is ABOMINABLE! You're trying to squeeze maximum water through this tiny hose... you only...
