Never again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer lasted me about 4.5 years. It's moldy (and after lots of research, I'm learning that's largely my fault). But, it also has spewed water randomly on and off for the last year and I'm just over it. So, 3 stars for it being decent prior to random water spews. Would I buy again? Definitely not.

Terrible design

There is no easy access to clean out the filter. Why isnt there a small door in the front of the panel? You have to pull the top off then remove the entire front panel. VERY LAZY

very disappointed

this washer was not a floor model nor from the scratch + dent outlet, but it has given trouble from the start. I would not recommend it to anyone. we take very good care of our appliances, don't overload them or misuse them in any way. we are very disappointed.

No readily access to filter.

Doesn't have a access panel to clean out the filter. You have to take the top off, the door, then the front panel to access it. Not good if you have to do this every month. What a major design flaw.

Moldy rubber

The rubber piece thats between the door and the washer tub has molded and there’s no feature on the washer to clean it. It also traps hair and dirt that get back in your clothes when you run a load. Scrubbing the rubber with a variety of cleaning products and nothing has worked.

Easy to use and works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned the Amana front load washer for four months now and it's worked great. I like it because it is simple to operate and it has the right amount of settings: not too many and not too few. It's a straight forward machine that is hard to find nowadays. So many come with steam, circulation fans, etc. which is just more to go wrong. It's also made in USA which is good. The only reason I gave it four stars is because I wish the door was...

Not worth the money!!

We've had so many issues with this washer. Changing the filter requires the machine to be taken apart, which is very tedious and not easy for the average household. Also, we've had multiple service calls and it is like pulling teeth to get it repaired, especially when using a home warranty. I would NOT recommend at all.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the large drum and all the wash modes. Runs quiet. Wish soap drawer opened easier with door open. Easy to use. Great machine.

Everything I was looking for!

I am still learning how to navigate the control panel, but the washer performance has been great. I appreciate the Energy Star features and so far, I am very happy with my new washer.

EASY TO USE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me a washer load or two to get used to it as totally different than the one which was purchased several years ago. However once I did I found it had so many settings for all sorts of different kinds of washing ability, water settings, heat settings and spin settings. It really made it easy to get all CLEAN.

lasted 2 years 4 months. Garbage.

pump replaced three times. Allstate Protection Plan is a JOKE. They made pay for the repairs and then I had to wait three weeks to get reimbursed. Junk.
