Assembly was not that difficult and I would recommend buying some blocks to weigh it down. This will help increase your results. Amazing bit of kit
Would RecommendI bought this about three months ago. It was very simple to assemble using the clear instructions. Then I used it and within a couple of days it transformed a wet, clogged, matted wildflower meadow into something that looked like sheep-grazed pasture, all ready for seeding.

Would RecommendTook up enough thatch on one pass across 8000 Sq.Ft. to fill up a 55 gal. trash bag. Using the self propelled mower and bagger as my sweeper. A word of caution and concern beware of sharp edges on the platform! They can scratch you pretty good! I'd suggest the vendor round off a few (4) corners of the top deck for safety in future builds. I used 4 rubber molding strips on each edge temporarily after the first mishap. I did at least a week of dethatching in 45 min. using this device. on a 8000 SQ...
